Looking for meal suggestions and recipes that can be taken to members of our church family that have pneumonia among other illnesses at this time. Yesterday I took soup and homemade bread to one and she cried when she called to thank me. Needing ideas and recipes of what to prepare and share with these folks. Thank each and every one of you!

Poppyseed chicken is my go to when called for a dinner. You can find it on Pinterest or I will post as soon as I can pull it up.
Basically, chicken breasts, sour cream, cream of chicken soup ( I think) and a crumb topping of Ritz crackers. Over rice or noodles. With or without 2 T of poppy seeds which, maps far as I can tell, just add color contrast.

Really any type of casserole is great - if they aren't needed, they can be frozen if you put them into disposable pans.
I like take lasagna - and bring bagged salad and garlic bread too.
Becky, are you on Pinterest? If so, type in "Make Ahead Meals" into the search bar - TONS of good ideas there!Last edited by Pat B; 02-19-2016, 08:28 AM.The only person you should try to be better than is the person you were yesterday.

Thanks for the suggestions googling for recipes as I write. Pat, searched on Pinterest for make ahead meals and found lots of possibilities. It would be so handy to have a meal or two in the freezer to use as needed.
Sassy, would you mind posting the recipe for cowboy casserole?
Thanks Sassy, Paula and Pat.
