WORLD'S BEST BAKED CHICKEN
1 whole fryer chicken, cut up
Butter for greasing pan
Sauce:
1/2 cup maple syrup
4 Tblsp. Red wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar
2 Tblsp. Dry ground mustard
2 tsp. Minced garlic
2 tsp. Tony Chachere's creole seasoning
1 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Black pepper
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Mix sauce ingredients in a small bowl. Place chicken pieces in a foil-lined baking pan that has been buttered. (Make SURE you line your pan with foil!)
Pour sauce over chicken and bake for 1 hour or until chicken is done enough for your liking. Every 15 minutes, turn the chicken pieces over and baste with the sauce in the bottom of the pan.
