The topsy turvey method works great for us, the thing you have to remember is to water each and every day, even if your other plants don't need watering.

I've got one tomato plant, several herbs, and some strawberries planted that way. The herbs are in those black metal baskets, planted from the bottom and the top.

The tomatoes we planted are in 55 gallon plastic barrels and are sitting up on cement blocks. Plus, they have chicken wire around the inside edges of the barrels.

Darla, I like your idea of using the smaller buckets instead of the TT hangers. We may try that next year. Just have to find somewhere to hang them.

      Thanks ladies.

A way that I used fresh dill:
Prepare two slices fresh cod and place on a broiling pan. Broil for 7 minutes.
Meanwhile mix together 2 Tbs, Mayo 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard, and 1/2 tsp horseradish. Stir in a Tablespoon or so of finely minced fresh dill.
Remove fish from broiler and carefully spread topping over fish. Return to broiler for two minutes.
        Serves 2. Tastes very good.

Today my herb garden really came into play. I made Green Goddess Dressing with tarragon, chives, parsley, and garlic. Yummy. Haven't made it in years but I saw Ming make it on TV with tofu and I just had to make it again, but with mayonnaise.

Last night I made Pasta Primavera and used shredded fresh basil in it. It also had snow peas, carrots, and zucchini and yellow squash. It was excellent.
