Hi gardeners. Did you know that a pile of grass clippings will support the growth of just about anything?
I threw my grass clippings in a pile beside the garden shed/laundry room/workshop. It was only composting for a week or so. Well, this past holiday time I used my quart mason jars for candle holders and I put pinto beans in there to hold up the candle.
So I tossed the pinto beans into the pile of grass clippings and just forgot about them. Next time I looked I had sprouting pinto beans coming up threw the gc. Yes, I've been watering them and they are doing great. I've never raised pb before, but they look promising. I will toss more seeds in there and see what happens.
