Do you grow Lantana?

I have lot's of Lantana thanks to the previous garden person who lived here. You know that Lantana grows like a weed here in Florida and I've seen it like a shrub, yes, that big. Actually, I have one that is a shrub beside our carport. It is the 'Confetti' variety and has pink and light yellow blooms on it. Soooo pretty.

If you have a sunny spot that nothing else will survive in plant some Lantana and watch it grow like crazy. I'm serious. It will grow fast. Loves the sun and is drought tolerant. Give it a try.

Butterflies (especially the Monarch) love Lantana. My neighbor has about 4 plants (different colors) that I get to see and watch the butterflies hover over them. Lovely!

I have some in pots and the butterflies are loving it, especially as the lilacs are bloomed out.
