Garden notes

I bought 1 Japanese Eggplant and 2 tomato plants yesterday and put them in the garden. I worked on the garden plot some yesterday, weeding and loosening the soil. It's supposed to rain today and tomorrow, 40% chance, but we'll see. I have to wate if it doesn't.

I found Vinca coming up in the garden from last season and some tomato plants. I want sunflowers so I'll buy those seeds today. Oh, BTW,there are 4 0'clocks coming up everywhere. Those are from the last homeowner and I welcome them. They like the sun.

I'm ready and anxious to start my garden, but still too early here in the Midwest. Hope to have a better garden this year. The past 2 years have been a flop due to the weather. It's time Mother Nature gave us a decent summer.

I have a bunch of heirloom seeds I ordered and have some yukon gold seed potatoes ordered, but I'm about to give up on spring ever happening here!
