  • Some folks

Some folks are just aggravating. My DH is very friendly and likes to strike up a conversation with folks in the neighborhood, but I had already warned him to be careful who he talks to and what he gets himself involved in in our new community. Well, today when I was out digging out a new garden close to the road a man came by on a bicycle and said, "I think you're working too hard. Is your husband home? What's his name again? What's your name." I said, "Who are you?" "Oh, I live right up the street and he was asking me about painting the house."

Well, aside from the fact that he was rude and pushy, I told him my dh name is Tod, but I didn't tell him mine. I also told him we can't afford to paint our house right now so there is no use to talk to my husband about it.

When dh gets home I'll have to tell him how pushy that guy was. He gave me the creeps. Even if we do decide to paint our house I wouldn't get him to do the work.

How about you? Has your significant other gotten you into some weird escapades?

That is not the worst thing that has happened believe me. One day when I had an evening shift job he brought a co-worker home to see our house and I was just getting out of the shower and was naked. He just comes tromping through the house without a warning or hello. I don't know if the guy saw me or not, but I gave dh the business over that one.
