Morning Glories

My MG's are blooming. Ok, so there is only one bloom on each, but it's a start. I sowed the seed back in early fall and they were slow to get growing. They are a deep purple color.

While I was out there I noticed that the ivy I planted is getting new leaves. Ahh! Things are starting to take shape finally. You would not believe how much garden time I've put in here since we bought this house, but I'm not complaining. I know someday I will not be able to get out there and I'm content to work while I'm flexible enough and don't need to hire it done.

I love morning glories! It is definitely one of my memories growing up and I need to checkout how to plant and when for zone 9~

Just remember that they love the morning sun and something to climb on. The kids will love them too.
