  • Michigan Woman Faces 93 Days in Jail for Planting a Vegetable Garden

This is about as stupid as years ago some city fineing a woman for planting flowers in the area between the sidewalk and the street , she figured that since she had to keep it mowed and cleaned that she could make it look pretty but the city said that she couldn't use "city property" for her own enjoyment.

Oh and here in Gary the city is going after a group that took upon themselves to clean up and plant flowers ect at a historic building that the city had let get overgrown, the sidewalks were all cracked and broken so they got a concrete company to donate new concrete and a finisher to donate his time to finish it, the city is now charging them with "destroying" city property for taking up the old sidewalk

The city of Eugene is known to be "Liberal" and if a group took on a project as the Historic Building determined mentioned, the city here would praise them and it would be in the local newspaper and local news as something good.

Mamsy around here it is all about politics (dirty ones). The "Clown Mayor" needs to have his name associated with everything he hasn't done anything for the city but if something good it done he wants to claim credit so if these folks would have stopped and went to him and said "look we want to do this" he would have said "OK" and then turned around and took credit for it. Some of the projects he has his fingers on that have came to nothing except spending money are renovating one of the old hotels downtown, supposed to be for senior housing on the upper floors and lower is to have stores and office space, he has spent millions of dollars and it is still an ugly empty shell, laughable headline was he was so proud to have was "Lights on at Sherridian" but if you read the article you found there was 1 light on and it was being ran from a generator . Oh and then we were getting a teaching hospital and casino but the Indians didn't play ball his way so the property that it was supposed to go on is now supposed to hold a Michael Jackson Museum and preforming arts school

Maybe she can get some well known lawyer to represent her, make a ton of money, and move out of there. Ridiculous rules made up by self important jack-asses.
