Good morning...yesterday was a pretty good day. I was glad to see my parents.

I am headed to work really early today. Chef needs me to serve breakfast. I will work 7 hours today. Nothing planned for this evening.

Tomorrow is my youngest niece birthday party with family.

Good morning! It's going to get hot again for a couple of days...record breaking heat according to the weather guy. I don't care. All I want to do this weekend is go to the orchard.

We had a nice shopping day yesterday. For some reason I came home stiff and sore...was lights out here at 9:00. Of course, then I took a nice nap and have been up since 2:00. I picked up some yarn and bought a Christmas gift my niece put into my cart at Bed Bath and Beyond. At least I know she will like it! If you ever get the chance go to At Home and check out the Christmas trees. Never have I seen trees like these. Bizarre! Who would buy a tree made to look like an Elf? And that was just one. I am not quite ready for Christmas and didn't do much shopping but enjoyed being out. Came home to the boys making a fire to roast hot dogs for supper. I was having a hard time breathing so stayed in ...something was in the air yesterday. I have never in my life had allergies like this!

I need to grocery shop today. If I go out again today it will mean I have been home only one day this week. Need to call for a haircut and get an oil change. Have laundry and the kitchen floor is still a mess. So I can either go out or stay home and find plenty to do no matter what I choose. Ball game at home tonight so it will be at a decent hour.

Still dark out and the house is cool. It is Friday so a no cook day. I must do better next week. Have a growing boy who needs to eat better than a weenie roast for supper. No dishes in the sink this morning which is strange. Trash has been taken out. Wonder if I woke up in the right house? Only junk on the table is my shopping bags. This is like the Twilight Zone!

Good SUNNY Morning! Was Blaise MAD this morning that I had him wearing shorts. Only 47 out there, but it's suppose to hit 80 later on. It would have helped if he would have gone to sleep before 11pm. Is it in kids' DNA to blame EVERYTHING on Mom?

Yesterday was good. Theresa & I busted tail all morning, then as soon as she left I called my Mom to see if she wanted to go out for lunch. I just had to go to the bank....no grocery shopping. She actually said yes. So I got ready, picked up my Rx's, then picked her up. We went to Ponderosa for the Senior Buffet lunch special, and I qualify now! She then ask to go to the thrift store since her friends wouldn't THINK of going there. I came out with 3 tops and her nothing...how's that happen?

Came home and started baking pies & assembling Saturday's pies. Had to bag & tag all the stand's and farmers market pies for this morning's delivery.

This morning it's more of the same but with Sue. Not sure if Blaise is going to Kathy's or not, but I'm sure he is. Mr Grumpy Face needs an attitude adjustment from her.

OK Maxie....what do they want? Or aren't the guys devious enough for that?

Andrew comes in here wearing jeans every day. He does not like wearing shorts and he can't wear those damn boots if he is wearing shorts. Right now he needs a haircut or a pony tail. We make fun of his hair..in jest of course.. but these are his decisions. The last father/son talk was on washing your hair every night and deodorant. Boys are different animals and jeans and needing a haircut are not hurting anyone and I will buy all the deodorant on the shelf!

Don't know what they want with cleaning up after themselves but it was a nice surprise. No shoes in front of the door is a great way to start a day!

Good Morning. ☕️
We had more rain yesterday, on and off. I think that’s it for us, but the humidity is going to hang around a couple of days.

Today I will be getting my cool weather clothes out of the bins and pack away summer weight clothes. It’s still in the 80’s here, tomorrow will hit 90......but it’ll be in the 80’s again, and nights are in the 60’s & 70’s. It’s definitely our autumn.

Tomorrow ill spend most most of the day with a couple of daughters.
I am skipping the baby shower. Almost everyone there will be strangers to me. And the house will be very packed......and all I need is to pick up any more “bugs” from strangers.
besides, the shower doesn’t start til 6 p.m., and those things never last less than 4 hours (5 or 6 hrs most likely), and I can’t deal with being awake that late.
Oldest DD stopped by yesterday, and I sent the gift with her.

So thats what’s going on here. Hope you have a super-duper day. ☀️

There was something posted on face book about sickness starting to go around here. Seems a little early with it still being so hot out but kids are germ factories and not afraid to share with adults. We had a shower earlier and the humidity is sky high now and hot! We had more thunder than rain!

WOW! I was going to say good morning and I realized it’s afternoon already. Time flies even if you’re not having fun! I went and got my eye injection this morning so you know I wasn’t having fun. I did go out and have breakfast with my friend. That was good even if I couldn’t have meat because it’s Friday! To insert the injury, my eye appointment was for 7 AM and we had to leave at 6:30 this morning. There just doesn’t seem to be any justice in that, does there? I do love my retina specialist, but I hate that he hast to stick a needle in my eye! Yuck The staff is really good. They are compassionate and witty and if I didn’t have to get the eye injection it would really be fun to go there.

Fighting another UTI. This stuff is getting old! I just had one lesson two weeks ago. This little versus getting the better of me. Oh well, this too shall pass.

STUPID MEDICARE! I have to use a nebulizer and they don’t wanna give me the medicine for it unless I am in a nursing home. They are a bunch of idiots. They want to spend thousands of dollars to give me medicine that will be cheaper to give if I stay home. Talk about Medicare fraud-Medicare employees are probably the most fraudulent abuses of Medicare. I get so darn frustrated. My illnesses won’t kill me— Medicare will! My next adventure with them is to get a new walker. Wish me luck. Medicare really makes it hard to be kind.

I guess I better get going and get some things done. It’s almost naptime. LOL have a great weekend everybody!

Well, it is nap time here! Sorry I am so late.
we have a 15-20 degree drop in our temperatures today! Yesterday topped off at 96 and today they said high 70’s. Overcast with some system moving in...

One toddler is gone today but the only difference in work load is diapers and the big relief of not waiting around so long for either of his parents to finally get him.

You all sound very busy and Maxie any day you wake up to a nice clean space is a good day no matter what their motive!

I am a little blah today. Nothing exciting going on it there is the weekend and always my To Do list!
