    Good morning Rounders! It's the last day of June. Are you ready for July 4th? DH has a PT appt. on that day. We will be watching the fireworks on tv, munching on good food and staying cool.

    Yes, we got rain yesterday evening and it was so welcome here. Hopeful to get more today.

    I will be going out to inspect the garden this morning. DH may go to mass. Ribs for dinner. Puzzle, read, relax for the rest of the day. Peace & Plenty.

    Morning...I am up bright and early this morning for absolutely no reason! Just woke up and felt the need to get out of bed instead of laying there watching the news. Yesterday while channel surfing I found a Hallmark Christmas movie and they were on all day and I have one on now. They are so mindless and no matter where you come in you know the plot and where it is going. Always a happy ending.

    It got pretty hot yesterday and Jon watered good last night. We have two little bitsy tomatoes! Scott sent a picture of his turning and ours are just starting...what a difference a few miles makes in the growing season.

    Life is dull around here...just enjoying the heat but from the inside!! Jon is working on the Fourth so no plans for us. With so many holiday workers we celebrate when the most can gather on all holidays so it is just a Thursday here. I did hear fireworks last night so the neighbors are starting to celebrate..glad we don't have a dog.

    No plans for today. Amazing how the house stays clean without kids but I gotta wonder where all that laundry still comes from. Have a wonderful Sunday everyone.

      Good morning. ☕️
      Today is my moving day. I’m not quite finished with packing boxes. But not much to go.
      Yesterday was busy. I ached all over.
      About midnight I started to fall asleep, and got all disoriented when an alarm went off. Then it stopped. I thought maybe the smoke alarms might need batteries. About 3:30 I woke thinking it wasn’t a smoke alarm. Maybe someone was trying to get in? I couldn’t get back to sleep. Today will be a lonnnnng day. (It happened to another house, a few doors down, several years ago.
      I need to get dressed. Middle daughter will be here early to help us. I can’t believe how anxious my girls seem to get me there, close to them!
      It is supposed to be 110° in Phoenix today. Sizzling!
      oh, yesterday DD said she saw rain falling way to the south of us. Toward the Mexican border. (Are they letting in Mexican rain?). This morning I feel the heat and humidity outside. Now that I’m leaving, Tucson will be getting rain?
      Have a great day, everyone.

      oh, if I’m not online these next few days, DD will be getting hooked up with the new service.
      ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
      Create a beautiful day wherever you go.
      Good morning got assigned veggies and dip for Bible study today. I looked pintrist and saw all cool veggie displays. I picked a veggie train. Well I am not talented or patient enough so I am taking a train wreck to Bible study.
      This afternoon I need to do some cleaning that I didn’t do yesterday.
        lol. Beth! After the first person grabs their veggies it all looks like a regular tray anyway...or at east that is what I tell myself when I start to think about doing one of those Pinterest extravaganzas.
        I read all your Saturday posts about 9:00pm and knew you all were in bed, but it was a grest way to end my day.
        I went to HOmeDepot with my brother who helped me choos e the right pruners and clippers and then we went back to my house and tried them out! He got all the mulberry branches that were hanging over my fence dropping those awful berries onto my patio (not the covered one by the house but the one my shed is on) and then proceeded to cut out all the stuff growing up around my roses...not totally sure of the names, but totally sure what a Pain they are! And cut back some of the roses that are growing crazy wild on the daycare grass play area.
        I was usingthe clippers to cut the roses back and all the ones that had bloomed and needed the dead heads cut. Some had gone so long because I couldn't see them for all the other stuff growing around them that they were way past the cutting back stage!
        And the amazing thing was ging to Home Depot with someone who talked all the way made the trip and the lights unnoticeable No more complaining from me about going "all the way to HD."
        Small town problems...
        We did regular shopping and some visiting and managed an appointment or two and really filled the day. I went swimming in the morning and then Becky and I were in the pool later.
        I took everyone out for deli sandwiches at a favorite place, A California deli, not a true East coast type one, but the wraps are good and my brother really liked his sandwich...he also took my advice and bought food at Klein's deli at the airport and really thanked me for that recommendation. I told him it was the one thing that made up for all the delays.
        And no wonder I have a problem with food!
        Church and then some planning around the house: I have to prioritize what I want done inside and outside. I have a contractor who lives near me coming to give me a bid (?) on doing floors and some painting. I would attempt the painting in other rooms but this is in the laundry and has much higher ceiling and I am not a ladder person. Step stool only. Like Maye I know my limits. And Becky does not have the time or desire to paint. At least inthis area. Too much to paint in awkward area: cabinets, etc...
        And being the last day of June I have bills to pay and get in the mail tomorrow.
        And the new toddler starting tomorrow...so getting my mind prepared for all that. He was referred by two other people I know, one a former daycare parent, and those are the only children I am considering. And no one who is not private pay...state programs may pay higher but there are always months when the state budget has delays and a few times when they just said, Sorry, no more money...I have donethat when I had to but I don'thave to anymore...
        Ok, not a good train of thought.
        I hope you all have a wonderful summer day and enjoy it thoroughly!
        Jo, I am thrilled for you and your girls!
        Jostoy, I looked on my map to see where you are and will Google it to see more later. OUr family drove through INd a lot in our travels.
