Good morning Rounders! Oh, joy, we got rain. And we're getting more this weekend. I'm so thankful for it because when I was out there working on the bank yesterday morning everything was looking wilted. I got some of the pavers laid on the bank and it looks so good. Now that it's raining again all those little bitty seedlings will grow like crazy.

FYI, yesterday evening I went out to process some flower seeds; Nigella & Pink Baby's Breath, and I had to get water from the hose afterwards to water my Eucalyptus, and I started looking at the garden and everything was just shriveled to a crisp. It would have all died if it hadn't rained. Thank you Lord.

Today is cleaning day. I cannot ignore the bathrooms another day. I'm ready for it. I can't work outside becuz I need a day to rest. My back was killing me last night and I had to use an Icy Hot patch. So from now on I will take a breather day in between gardening projects. I have lots more pavers to haul, but it will be a long time before I'm done.

Aunt Maye, if you will remember I suggested one of your sons talking to your husband awhile back about using the cane/walker. It will be heard if it's from a male member of the family, but they won't listen from a wife or daughter. It's a fact of life. ROFLOL!

Good Morning! Yesterday was definitely a summer day...sunny & scalding hot.

I made it through yesterday. Everyone picked up what needed to be. The last order yesterday that I completed was 6 doz cupcakes...6 different kinds. The fun & different ones...white CC w/maple icing & crumbled bacon. Choc CC sprinkled with graham ckr crumbs, topped with marshmallow icing, then sprinkled more GC crumbs, then drizzled hot fudge on top of all that. Looked good! They were for a boy's graduation party & I thought the boys would get a kick out of those two flavors. There was only one plain & simple one....white CC with choc icing. My kitchen looked like a bomb went off in it after I was done. I had most of it cleaned up before I left.

The wedding was at 330. EVERYONE was staying in the shelter until right before the wedding started. The sun was out and just scorching. Thankfully about 15 minutes into the service, a big old cloud rolled in & blocked the sun. We could hear thunder in a distance, but it never did rain. The bride was beautiful. The groom's Dad looks so much like my cousin, they could be taken for brothers. For such an early wedding, dinner was late. We didn't eat until almost 630. Instead of wedding cake, they had an ice cream freezer that you could choose a cup of ice cream of your desired flavor. I had blueberry cream.

I came home with intentions of doing work. Didn't happen. I had zero energy. I ended up falling asleep in the recliner and slept there all night. Now I've got to get a few things made before heading out to a few garage sales....all by myself...Cork is working. Blaise is suppose to be coming home today.

I can tell Cork something over & over again, but what do I know? Some guru tells him, and it's gospel & the way to do it....same thing I've BEEN telling him.

Morning...Cleaning my space today...first more sleep.

Morning..hot and sunny just like summer should be with afternoon storms rolling through quickly. I do need to do a deep watering because, like Kalrinann says, things look all wilted. Ball game was on the west coast and didn't start until 9:00 so I did not see any of it. I can stay up for a late for a hockey game but for some reason cannot make it to first pitch for baseball. Go figure.

No plans for today. Cleaned house yesterday and have a sink full of dishes transferred into the dishwasher and started already today. I could iron. But you just never know what a day will bring. I really need to clean windows but now that summer is here it can wait until fall. Notice how I do that? First I'm to depressed to clean then it is to hot and who knows what excuse Fall will bring!

Maye hope someone can get through to your husband how important the cane is. If not for the ease of motivation for him but for your peace of mind. Karlinann good idea of giving yourself a break between outside sessions. I do not know how you do all that summer yard work anyway. Motivated is my word of the day with you all. OMG Cookie, do you and Jostoy ever take a day off? I read what you two do and need to rest myself!

Well, I got nothing going on so will have another cup of coffee...a fast one since I just finished off the powdered sugar donuts. Those bags get smaller and smaller.

Good afternoon! good afternoon. We are almost done with the packing. I'm waiting for the kids to return, and we are going to lunch. I am tired. DD's hubby has energy like crazy, even sitting he's got to be busy with something.
Hot day today. It's been over 105°, but not sure what it is today. I don't want to know. We also have a 10-20% chance of rain this week. Hello, Monsoon! Please gift us with moisture. Preferably in abundance.
Well, time to get going. I wonder where we will have lunch today?
DDs hubby is picking up the moving truck early...he wants to pack it tonight when the day cools down. Hopes to get everything in it, then the other kids can help unpack at the other end. Then we can relax and feast before the day ends.

I am just reading on what all you are doing and saying good night!
busy day here and actually got the right pruners and clippers and the proof is piled up
in my yard!

my brother sure is helping me out and he got the Dyson fixed!!! It’s e it to my mom for Christmas and she did something g to it; he will tell me later, but I am so happy it is working!
By the time I finish this Karlinann will be starting the Sunday thread
