We got an 8:00 am call from the Foot Specialist's office. Apparently she already got the disk, and had called Friday and left a voicemail re: DH coming in this Wednesday for a pre-surgery consultation. We are bad about checking for messages and I worked in the garden and DH was at the exercise club walking on the treadmill so we didn't get the message. She told DH to put the boot back on and they have him coming in for the pre surg consult this Thursday.
I figured it would have to be sooner than later after the imaging center told him about the tear. I'm going to call the Medical Closet that our community has and ask for crutches. It's a loan closet and you use it and take it back when you no longer need it. My neighbor behind me said he could borrow her walker, the kind with the seat. I may just do that.
We ended up going to Sammy's Italian and they have not raised their price yet for the Spaghetti/Meatballs Monday special. It was good and I won't have to make dinner for DH, but I am going to make French Onion Soup. I just love soup and salad.
