Good morning Rounders. It's 49* here now and going to 60*. I've been up since 2 am, but I've been reading that new Sheriff Joanna Brady book and it's good. Aunt Maye you will not like it though. This is the first book by J.A. Jance that has bad language and it's a 2018 book, so you were correct in saying the new stuff has bad language. I wonder why though?
So we ended up having a grilled ham and cheese sandwich each last evening. I didn't think I would be hungry again, but I guess soup and salad does not go that far. DH had the chicken parm sandwich and fries, but he is a 3 meal a day guy so I knew he would need to eat dinner. We still haven't been to the new Cheddar's, but every time we go by it's just packed and neither of us has patience for waiting.
You are not going to believe this: Our friends across the street came over day before yesterday to tell us that the lady who lives in front of us fell and broke her hip looking at that Blood Moon. She apparently dragged herself into her house and called 911. The lady who is renting beside us is the one who saw the Fire & Rescue lights and went over to investigate. I sleep like a log and the people who live right beside her didn't hear or see anything either. So, she has a Titanium Hip now and is in a facility to heal and they said she is selling her house. I don't know. I tried to make friends with her when we first bought this house, but she never reciprocated and I waved at her many times when I was out in our yard doing work, but she would not wave back. Whatever! I don't know what I did or what happened, but I guess I won't need to worry about that now.
I have learned the hard way to be very careful what you say and who you talk to. I am a very positive person and I don't meet a stranger, but in todays world you have to tread lightly until you have scoped things out. Now after living here for over a year we have a general idea about all the folks who live on this Cul-de-sac. We have some good neighbors and some bad ones. I just stay in my yard and mind my own business.
Peace & Plenty
