Good morning Rounders and thank you all for the kind words. When I feel someone in need of encouragement it just kicks in and I have to write what is in my heart and help them.
On Thursday DH & I went to Walmart to do a bit of shopping and as soon as I went in I got a flea bite on my ankle. I killed it and washed the bite with sanitizer gel, but it hurt for a long time afterwards. That is not the worst thing that happened though. I saw a G Foreman grill for a mere $40 and grabbed it up. After we checked out I just happened to look at the receipt and saw that she had rung it up at $59. We marched over to CS and they did the price check and sure enough someone had stacked it under the wrong price tag. I hate that! We didn't buy it, but I bet they will straighten out that shelf.
Yesterday was so beautiful outside. I worked in the garden a bit straightening pavers and leveling them and my knees and hips killed me all afternoon. JoGee, I have been diagnosed with Degenerative Disk Disease since the early 2000's. You wanted to know what helps your back. The best thing you can do is to sit always with lumbar support and when you walk or stand not to do it for any length of time. Those Hurrychair's advertised on tv look like the best tool for walking becuz you can stand up and keep your back straight. I never realized how I was debilitating my back lifting all the heavy things when I owned the cleaning biz. If I have to stand on concrete for more than 15 minutes it just kills my back.
On a brighter note it has warmed up significantly here and I don't even need to wear my robe. That cold really bothers my joints. Augh, that is enough old talk and complaining. Life is so short. I'm wishing you well, peace & plenty.
