Morning all....back to work today...my day off yesterday was really busy but good...The only bad thing was breaking a tooth and I am having that looked at later today. Nothing today but work and the dentist..

Mom seems to be doing ok...she is sore and swollen but ok

up very early!... been reading, crocheting, making a crib size afghan for Elsie,, not a work of art. just rows of different colors from my boxes of yarn...they can put this in around her in the car seat in the winter..a project for me and a Nana afghan for this grand baby.. will end up making one for the older G.Grand . have lots of colors in that big box of yarn..

Good SUNNY Morning! It was gorgeous yesterday too.

Sue came yesterday and we busted butt. We got to cross off 3 more cookies off my list. The trouble now? No more freezer space. HAVE to take a load over to Aunt J's and put in her freezer. She made some space for me. After Sue left, I headed into town to deliver the apple pie to the doctor's office then onto Aldi's. I wished someone would come home with me & unload it all.

Had a meeting at church to touch base & figure out more details for the community Thanksgiving dinner our church is going to host for the first time. I make the announcements about it in early service on Sundays, and my crew is coming through. I told the other people at the meeting that I threaten to keep making announcements if they just would volunteer right up front! LOL!!!!! It works. OK....I like to interject some humor.

This morning is Bible study, then I'm heading to a couple grocery stores to pick up their sale items and see if they'll let me buy more than the "Limit 1" of turkeys. I need 10 for the dinner. I need to figure out something for dinner. Think I'll dip the Oreo balls in choc so that I can cross that one off my list. Dipped the Buckeyes yesterday....MMMMMMM!!!!

Sorry to hear you didn't get your conversion yesterday Sharon. You AREN'T going to GA until you get that done, right?

Good morning everyone.

Donna, sometimes I just don't have time to make a post. Really don't have a lot of time this morning as I'm to be at E's house to clean her guttering and then mow. Will be taking my mower out as it has the mulching kit on it. She bought a mulching kit for her mower about 2 weeks ago. She is anxious to try it out.

Well I have to get dressed then get the mower and 8' ladder loaded onto the trailer. Maybe tomorrow I'll have more time.

good wet morning. It is warmer this morning with a lot of cloud cover. Wind advisery, too, but right now it is not windy.
Noisy: the dogs are yowling to go out. Ok, just let them out. They probably got worked up hearing the same noise that got my attention: scratching sound! thank Heaven it was the new cat who found a box I have set out for a package! Some noises take my mind right to the exterminator side. She has just started sleeping inside and this is the first box that has been out. My mother's cat is a box fanatic! He uses them as a scratching post, though. Not a nesting place.

Donna, I think I will be adding some of those Oreo balls to my order! and if it frees up space, you can send my order anytime. I will email you.

I loved the interview I had yesterday with the potential new parent and child. It will be a couple of weeks till they know what her husband's work schedule will be but she was willing to adjust their schedule to my appointments and I told her I will wait to fill the spot until I hear one way or the other from her. Fingers crossed! We had a great time talking and she loved how the daycare and play yard are set up (and all that during quiet time!)

I recorded the CMA award show and now have it on in the background listening to Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood. A friend texted me and said be sure and notice Miranda Lambert's dress during one of her songs...

Right after daycare Becky and I went to Walmart for the shelter dinner food and then a bunch of decorations and things that were not on the list but found their way into my basket! There is a group at the county ed. dept that is asking if they can donate food items and money to our dinners. Of course! Any way they choose, to our group or the the shelter manager...but it will really be nice if they donate to us, since usually there are a couple of days that Becky and do a dinner ourselves when for some reason no one is covering that dinner...

Ok, I better get moving. I hope you all are doing what you need to do and enjoying it!

Started a post and lost it! It was full of information and good will and witty gems and now gone forever! Hate when I do that but it really wasn't all that great so you aren't missing much..

Got down into the 20s last night so some had to scrape their windows this morning. Wonder if Drew wore anything heavier than his sweatshirt at the bus stop this morning? His mother has the coat and I have the receipt so both parents can prove he has warm clothes...what a knuckle headed kid! He has noon dismissal today and I have a 5:00 appointment with the surgeon. That might as well be a middle of the night appointment since I will have to drive in the dark coming home. But I will coming in to a warm house and hockey game and another night I did not have to cook. No school tomorrow so I do not have to cook again until Monday.

Yesterday I did my ironing and ran the vacuum, even dusted. Made the Christmas list and I am in great shape with only Santa gifts we need to shop for. Andrew has presented a huge list so it is just a matter of robbing a bank and then getting like amounts in gift cards for Sierra. She will have a few surprises to unwrap. AND I cooked a meal so it was a very full day for me. Today is a sittin' around day waiting for the bus time or leaving time. Broken days are a bother.

Did not call for a haircut so will tomorrow after I get an idea on what is going on around here. Also need to get some banking done so another chore for tomorrow.

I was here earlier.....didn’t I post?

Well, a very good morning....oops, afternoon.....to you all.
Today is doctor day for me, beginning with a blood panel, this afternoon.
E is accompanying me to my appointments today. He gets to wear that “altered” shirt I cut for him. It actually looks pretty good, though it’ll probably get trashed after all this.

Am debating whether to get a couple butterball turkeys while target has them at 99 cents/lb. I’m not doing any big dinners, but I can cut those up to use later on.

Will probably get an invite for t’giving from niece here. We went one, and have since declined. Her pre-fab home is overrun and noisy as heck with her family all together. Her kids let everyone else take care of their kids, an unruly lot. We went home with headaches, even though we insisted the babies’ moms shouldn’t be out-of-sight with the boyfriends.
If it wasn’t so stressful, it’d be funny.

Well, E needs help with getting everything put together with that big, hard sling he has to wear. His follow up is Monday.

Nothing much being done here today.

Am at the Cancer Center.... a bit late for the lab appt, but the computers are down so I can’t get labs anyway. Early for my doctor appointment, but the nurse (?) is trying to arrange to have someone take labs “after” I see the doc. I told her the labs were crucial to my appointment. I guess I’ll just leave without knowing the results.
She also gave me the phone number for the “portal” system so I can see results online.
Argggghhhhh!
Hope the sun isn’t setting when I leave this place today. I don’t do well driving in the dark. 😥
