    Good morning.
I’m awake at an ungodly early hour today, but I’ll be going back and try to get more sleep.
E admits to not feeling like doing much. He gladly sat down most of the day to just let himself heal.
But he’s doing pretty well, learning to be left handed to do more things himself. Before long he’ll have taught himself to be ambidextrous.

Other than that, not much going on here at all. The usual chores, cooking.
The weather is nice, staying in the low 80’s now. Nights have dropped to the 50’s.

I noticed at the grocer’s in the greeting card rack, that the Christmas cards are already set up where the Halloween cards used to be. Thanksgiving cards are mid-aisle in the same rack. Then the Spanish cards. Wish they’d deal with one holiday season at a time.

Wishing you all a very good day. 💖

Good morning my ride should be here shortly! I am off to help distribute coats to kids in need....then my friend will drop me at my sisters....I am hoping we all get to do some thing fun this afternoon...even if its just my mom dad and nieces.

I had a very nice time last night...and found some great bargins...my friend picked me up we went to savers and then we went for pizza...I spent close to the 70.00 at Savers with out my discount. I honestly thought I had spent more than that. There were a couple more items I wanted...I may get to go back today to get them...I don't know...I couldn't get one because it hadn't been on the sales floor for long enough and the other I decided against and regret it.

    Everyone have a great day!!

Oh, Beth, I have talked myself out of buying something and then gone back to get it! Why do we do that? Today is so gloomy...the sky is so thick I doubt the sun will find its way out! Suppose to be warm today and tomorrow with big storms moving in Sunday. Just as long as I can get out of here on Monday for my shopping day!

Have an appointment for Thursday with the surgeon on my para thyroid. I have no idea what this entails but I want it done quickly. Need to get days off from my sons since I will need a driver and it will take most of this week for those two to give me a list. I think Scott is on vacation for the rest of this month so that would be nice. Actually no matter how minor this is it has given me an incentive to get this shopping finished. I work great with a goal!

Yesterday turned out to be a clean out the refrigerator night of left overs. I had a nice roast all ready in the crock pot and forgot to plug in the pot! How dumb...but they really did clean out the fridge which was great. I hate when I do that type of thing because it does make me question my mental capacities. I know I am all together but am I really not all together and don't know it? I can remember what is on my store list but forget to bring the list to the store. Oh well, the roast is ready for another night.

This is Jon's weekend to work and who knows what or where Sierra will be. Blues play tonight so I will go to bed early with my popcorn. Probably could find something to do today but will in all probability will just turn it into a Hallmark movie day. Love those Christmas movies! Jo so happy your E is making good progress. I would imagine there is a lot of pain involved. How did the shirts turn out? Beth enjoy your weekend and all others who follow HELLO!

I read an article some years ago that said those kind of forgetful episodes are more Mother Stress than onset of dementia...like I used to get to a Stop sign and then think, Where am I going???

Love the Hallmark movies! Like Comfort food for my emotions!

Good Morning. Got my electric blanket out and on the bed, didn't plug it in yet. It is a heavy fleece so felt good to snuggle under, when I got up Molly just snuggled a little deeper.
No plans today that I know of so will wish you all a wonderful day.

Good morning! It is still dark out and the dogs are needing the light on to find their way around the yard. It rained last night and there are still clouds covering.

It is my WA son's 40th birthday! I put a slideshow up on Facebook of lots of pictures of him. A few show some funny shots of the family. Funny: I don't feel any older and can totally remember the surprise 40th birthday party the kids and Gary gave me!

Lots to do around the house today. Laundry and the biggest one: clean my room! Now that the shelter is open I can take the bags of clothes that I have been saving for them and also the books, etc...And this coming Friday is our first shelter dinner for my friends and me to do.
We have friends coming over for dinner tonight, but that is because I bought enchiladas from a friend who makes and sells them and it will be an easy dinner. I am going to our favorite Mexican restaurant and will buy rice and beans and salsa...I am making chocolate cupcakes from a recipe I got a long time ago!

Hope you all have a good day!

Wow, not many people here today. Must be a very busy Saturday.

After being up at 2:30 for an hour, I went back to bed but sleep didn’t come too easily. I listened to neighborhood dogs, to early morning traffic (5am), and longer. But I didn’t see any morning light, so before whatever sunrise time is when I fell asleep. I fully woke at about 8:30. Saw that the sky is heavily overcast, a small chance of rain, but small enough it may not amount to anything.

Got a call from youngest DD at 9 and we had a very good chat. E got up at 9:30 and had a chance to chat, too. That made him happy.

Maxie, I cut the first shirt this morning, but he was my “dress dummy” when I did it. I think it’s a size larger than he normally wears now (a Hawaiian shirt, and he’s lost some weight this past year). So he put it on normally on his left side and buttoned the 2 top buttons, I pulled the right side around him. Rather than slit a hole in it, I just cut it from the button strip where his sling was, tucked the dangly strip under and buttoned the bottom button to keep it closed. He’s covered, it’s comfortable, he’s happy. It works. That’s it. That was the best we could do with what we have on hand.

I’ve forgotten to turn on my slow cooker a couple of times. Hate doing that. I just turned it very low to cook overnight, and substituted something else for dinner.

Paula, with Mexican food, you should probably put some cinnamon in those cupcakes. One of the TV chefs said it’s the way to do “Mexican chocolates).

          Hi Darla. Keep warm!

          Miss all you other guys.
Hope your day is going well, everybody.
