Well, new innovations around here. John is taking an antibiotic - no dairy products, so I had to make pancakes with almond/coconut milk. Not great, but at least safe for him.

Cooking veggies and cleaning today.

Nothing exciting, for sure.

Good morning.
I having my cereal now, but have to get E up in half an hour.
His appointment is a day earlier than I thought, and he has to be at the clinic when the odors open. He sees the PCP today for a quick checkup to okay his surgery. Then the surgeon can schedule him for it. Too many doctors.

Got my mocha brewing, then I'm ready to go when E is.
Can't believe I put myself together in 20 minutes today. Hairstyle turned out perfectly.

Good morning! Trucks are already picking up the trash and the recycle bins. Or maybe just the trash across the street. I brought in my empty trash cans, but did n't put out the recycle...

Sharon, our cousin Doug Lee worked for American Airlines, but not sure what city. Near the airport, but I will ask him and see exactly where. He is retired now and still is able to fly all over the world. Sometimes he posts about a 4 day trip to Rome with a son, or just a quick trip to NY

I didn't get here yesterday because I had to start clearing out the storage shelves on the patio and that meant finding places to relocate things to...I was searching for the outdoor extension cord in my shed when a cat went zooming past me from inside it. I kind of screamed, jumped out of the way, then looked around to see if any neighbors were up and heard me. I knew there was a young cat that was hanging around, but I was trying to find that extension cord and working under a time constraint. No one seemed to hear or if they did, care. And the cord must be in a tub too far back (remember I brought things from my storage unit to the shed in the backyard) so I gave up for the time being and borrowed one from my next door neighbor. She is a single woman, too, and we are friendly.

Yesterday the power washing got done out back. My trumpet vine had left sticky stuff (how it attaches to the wall to climb up) and that took a lot of washing to get it off. A lot of noise would be a better way to describe it. At nap time! I finally told the two older kids to just get up and quietly play in the little bedroom and they were pretty much glued to the window watching the guys. then the yard guy came to take out the overgrown shrubbery (including a holly that had grown too high and was too prickly to get close to), and the noise multiplied exponentially! Of course, they don't think about it being afternoon and kids, so everyone had to knock on the door and tell me they were there and then ask some question...which would set off the Chihuahua every time. I was like, Ok, kids; we are just calling this party day!

Sharon, I did take one picture of the guy out front and wish I had taken one when they had the front off and replacing wood. Part of me didn't want parents to see it, though...the place wher the wood was rotted. Anyway, I will post the picture today on Facebook.

Becky took my mother to Chico on Monday and she met with a hand surgeon. She will have to have another surgery because her thumb on her left hand (she broke her wrist last Jan) is not moving at all. He said it is common with the kind of bad break she did.

So, Elaine, nothing exciting is what I aim for!

No sun this morning but then no rain either. Haven't stuck my nose out so not sure if the predicted cold front came through lat night. Boys worked in the pool last night to get it ready for draining. They were IN the pool and even after all these hot days it was cold in there.

I did get into the clinic yesterday and got my dose pack. Was told to start it yesterday to get all the first days dose in...still itching this morning but not near as much and hand is still puffy but all in all it is much better. Now I need to start thinking about going out and starting to paint again. This just has to be done and even though Jon is off this weekend we are meeting up with my sister and niece and driving down to visit Scott in Sikeston Mo, having lunch at Lambert's...home of the throwed rolls, then stopping at the Yule Cabin on the way home. That literally shoots the entire Saturday part of his weekend off. Gotta keep in good with my eldest son because he always takes me to old town St. Charles after Thanksgiving. Can't let Beth be the only one who gets to enjoy that!

Sierra met up with me yesterday and while I was in the clinic she had me send her the grocery list so she started shopping. Naturally by the time I got there her cart was full of stuff she wanted. She had marked on the list that she wanted Oreo Golden cookies and was dumb enough to write 'for Sierra' on the list which meant she was stashing them away. Her dad had circled it and wrote 'you pay for them'. Of course that lead to my store list being full of comments and him writing his name next to stuff. This family is insane! But she did carry in all the groceries and after lunch, of course, had a nap before her afternoon class. But you know, Jon may have something and when their delicacies hit my list I should take up a collection. After all I pay for my own special foods.

No help with math but I figured it out then was afraid to sit with Andrew for fear of screwing him up. So he went home earlier than usual and his other sister's bf helped him. He has been allowed to move in and I hate that. Living together is one thing but living together in the family home with a child is another but Drew's mom is a believer in love..if you know what I mean. Anyway, he is a nice enough boy and does not set my teeth to grinding and is the one who sits and does math homework when we cannot. I give him credit when credit is due.

Nothing going on for today but that never ending pile of laundry which today has the addition of beach towels and swim suits...a load of its own. Have stew meat in the crock pot thawing and will throw in a potato or two later. Have a headache this morning so hoping it is allergies which are horrible. Cannot set foot outside without my nose starting and my eyes running. Hope it doesn;t get to cool so the air conditioner stops running. We leave the a/c on until it is time to switch to heat. Sun popped out so that is a good omen. have a wonderful day everyone!

Good Morning. Seems like a nice day, but then I've only poked my head out letting Molly out. She has found herself a sunny spot and is spread out soaking it up.

wow, Here I am.. and for the first time in months I did not have to Log in ...could it be possible my excel is over?.. sure hope so..

went grocery shopping.. a kind of "stock-up" day..extras of most everything .. I am tired of running out... and I came home wondering how I can talk David into staying home ....or staying in car ... he does NOT understand , and never will , how we ladies shop..or how I shop..

..his little new pill is working very well.. thank heavens..
SassyGirl.. every time you write about your project ,I feel like getting out my box of yarn , needles and just Crochet "something".. keep pushing me!

Maxie,, every time someone adds a favorite ( for their own consumption). to the Grocery list.. they do need to kick in some $$$ to cover it.that is teaching them Responsibility... . (don't you just love it when I nag?)

Paula, you sound as busy as Donna.. you two make quite a pair..
