Good Morning 6/28/17

Morning all...I had another dizzy spell yesterday but not nearly as bad as the one on Monday...I just have to be careful....Still not feeling 100% but will keep on going and suck it up...My parents are in town for a few days... They got here yesterday and are staying through Friday I think. They may be back for the 4th of July but I am not sure...I had the option of working and getting Time and a half for my 4 hours or having the day off and getting regular pay for my 4 hours...I chose the later because I am volunteering for a sale day on Sunday. I don't want to work two sale days.

Work this morning....hopefully lunch out and visiting my sisters goats and my nieces this afternoon. Maybe church tonight.

Not sure about the rest of my week.

Good Morning! We are finally suppose to have some summer heat again. Yesterday was just down right COLD.

Yesterday started with us going to Portrait Innovations for Blaise's 7th birthday pics. I've had great experiences with them, but yesterday wasn't one of them. Now I loved the pictures that were taken though after MANY phone interruptions, though during the interruptions Blaise & I got creative setting up the next scene. We took items that represented Blaise....blankie, many books, a couple stuffed animals, his Minecraft sword, etc. I tried to have the #7 somewhere in the pictures so we knew how old he was when we look back years later. Normally the pictures are ready to take with you in 15 minutes, but after an hour & a half, they weren't even started printing. GRRRRR!!!! I could have gone back later in the afternoon, but I think I'm going to wait until the photo booklets come in in about a week.

Came home and started working on icing sugar cookies. Probably got 7 doz done and still have about 4 to go. That's today's project. Took Blaise for swim team practice and they froze to death. He came home, took a hot shower, and was asleep in minutes. All wrapped up in his green blanket.

Today is goodie day for the doctor's office and I think I'm just going to make them a cookie tray. They enjoy those just as much as a pie. I'm bound & determined to get these cookies iced. Tonight's swim practice will be MUCH warmer. Only a week more and the swim season will be done.

Corky is working until the job is done today. That's what they were told. They are scheduled for 12 hrs. They need to seriously hire a couple more GOOD people.

Good morning.
I already brought in the newspaper, and it's a delicious 78° out right now (6a). The forecast says only 105° today. That's easy enough to deal with. It'll be a few degrees cooler by the weekend, possibly a bit of rain on Monday. Call me greedy, but I really prefer a downpour. We need it. E is asking "do we really want to go back to Phx where it's 5° hotter?" He finds this heat harder to take these days.

So....not much going on here. I really need to go through my pantry again and discard stuff.

Next week I'm scheduled for an ECHO testing. If they try to get me to take the stress test again, they're in for a big problem. My feet are neuralgia .... no real pain, just a constant prickly feeling. I discovered that I can't tell if my foot "falls asleep", and nearly tripped the other day because of it. Numbness doesn't support you if you need to walk. Ha!

Good morning sun seems to be out but I haven't opened the door yet since Molly hasn't wanted out. Storm went through last night, lots of thunder, lighting and wind. Today my son is going to take me to goodwill if he has time. He is supposed to help his dad move his bed and some other stuff today. X was living here but decided to move closer to his work and has finally found an apartment he can afford. Just want to look at goodwill today is their senior discount. Hope everyone has a great day

Good morning, all.
A beautiful day here with temps in the mid 90s. Cooler nights too. It was 57º when I got up at 4:00.

No serious plans for the day except to mop kitchen and bath. Today I lunch at the community hall but I think I will pass. I did go Monday and it wasn't too bad. Chicken was good but The rice was tasteless and had quinoa! in it. Can't stand that stuff.

Off to figure out what to cook today. Take care.

Morning! Slept in late this morning which meant I had to rush around and get dressed. Have a repairman coming for a roof leak. I have been dreading this guy coming out but he said the roof is in great shape and the leak was a something that goes around a vent pipe that rotted away and just needed replaced and is a common fix. Then he tells Jon he has a couple of missing shingles from a past storm and we have had a couple of doozies go through earlier this summer so he will replace them and then add some more ventilation. Since the guy came highly recommended Jon took his advice so I am up early to greet him which means he will not be here until Jon is home from work this afternoon. Another baseball game last night and another loss...Drew got hit in the butt with a pitch and he rubbed it all around the bases then collided with the catcher at home. He always comes over after every inning and his mom ask how his butt was and he says that stopped hurting when the catcher fell on his head! Oh well, he scored and we lost and it was another normal night at the ball field. We get to try again tonight and travel to do it! Life is grand!! I think I made the best pot of green beans I have ever made yesterday! Jon had 2 bowls for supper one after the game and took the rest in his lunch. They were pretty darn special and as to not ruin that fete I have decided not to cook today. I was leaning toward chicken and broccoli but needed cheese and now I have to stay home for the roofer anyway. Concrete guys have not come back to clean up but then they haven't been paid yet so guess that decision is theirs. I am still considering having them do the seeding and maybe plant a few bushes...they are a landscaper too. Well as I speak they show up to throw rock and pickup the debris. gotta go. Finally going to warm up around here...yep summer is coming back!

good afternoon..... gee whiz,, thought I was here earlier.... but..

trying to get all the loose ends done today... last of the dust bunnies swatted away.. washed two more of the blankets they use in downstairs.. had got stuck in a drawer.. are now in the washer, sun is shining so will hang them out.. will smell so goooood...

house is looking good.. I do love shiny windows.. Carrie did a good job cleaning windows. blinds. curtains yesterday.. .. mopping kitchen is last item on the list.. and that is Sat afternoon about 2pm.. now If I just had a cook hired or been smarter and made stuff for the freezer.. however. Breakfast is easy.. and salads are too..lots of fruit in fridge. .. so I see sandwiches in our future.. and some eating out. ..
