Good morning...Yesterday was not a good day at all...stressful at work...lots of work..They over loaded the floor the day before meaning I had a ton of stuff to pull from the floor to make room for the new stuff that came out yesterday...

I got on the bus to go to group and found there were only 3 buses because the 4th one broke down in the morning..so I had to ride 1.5 hours before I finally got to group...

I was on facebook while waiting on my ride to take me home from group and read that a neighbor/friend had died.....I didn't know him really really well...haven't lived here long enough to be best friends or anything but the guy was nice....I had my ride drop me off at the store and I picked up sandwich stuff and chip and paper plates and took that to the family...His poor wife is just plain in shock...we all are...Its hard any time you lose some one but this time its hitting a little closer to home he was more than 10 years older than me.....

I won't be going to the funeral I have to work...I thought about taking off to go but my friends wife has asked me to see after pets when I get off work...so I will do that both the evening of visitaion and day of the funeral...will fix food again or atleast brownies so they have something to enjoy when they come in from the funeral with coffee.

Please pray for my friends family and those loved ones left behind.

Work today....then volunteering....maggie and I have something planned after work I think...what plans we have I am not sure..depends on if she has to get the kids off the bus...

This evening I will do floors...change my sheets and touch up my bathroom....I want to have my chores done when my parents get here for the week....so we can maybe do something fun with my nieces...

I going upstairs now...its an egg sandwich kinda day..and I always make my sister one when I make one for me.....its her favorite thing...

Good morning Beth...we seem to be the only two up and at it. Who can blame people for sleeping in with this weekend weather predicted...4 to 6 inches of rain for this area. Not great for weekend plans! Andrew has a picnic in the park at school today with early dismissal and I hope they get it in since he was looking forward to it. Have a headache this morning from the predicted weather system and allergens. Think I will curl back up for a while...already told the guys last night I was not cooking today. Blues play tonight so you all know where i will be at 7:00.

      Good morning.

It should be a sunny and refreshing day, only 82°. 🌵 Tucson is again 5° cooler than Phx. 😅
Nothing much happening today. Guess I'll look into my stuff to toss and give away.

Beth, I'm sorry to hear how tough it was at work yesterday, and also about your neighbor/friend. You are a good friend to help her out at this difficult time.

Have a great day, everyone. ☀️

I just got here, too. I forgot yesterday! Not even sure how it happened...or didn't happen!
Our temperatures are going up, too. Upper 70's with 80's in sight. I have a friend who has a lot of serious health issues and is so cold all the time. I know she is looking forward to warmer weather, so Iam not going to complain about watering or air conditioner on. It looks so green outside. I sound like it is something new because it has been years since all the lawn has been green and growing...even with watering.
All the daycare blankets and bedding have been washed and hopefully, I will get mine done this evening. I am ready to change out my dark sheets for lighter colored ones and also my duvet cover.
Beth, you are really offering a great service to your neighbor at a time she really needs it. The food you took and the paper plates as well as looking after the pets just shows another way you care and serve. Prayers for all of them and you!
I have a funeral tomorrow, too. I was asked to direct the music and then saw a sign up sheet for food that still needed some salads. I think I will take a macaroni salad that we like.
I better get moving. I hope you all have a good day and hope the Blues win, maxie!

Good morning, all. Back again. I have been having a lot of physical problems with back, allergies, and heart so I spend most of the time reading. Feeling a bit better since I finally got appointments with cardiologist and spine institute.
Seems we have about a bzillion Dr. here, mostly specialists but it still takes a couple of months to see one and a family Dr. takes even longer.

Anyhow, I haven't done anything interesting. I have meat cut for a slow-cooker recipe for Korean beef that I[m going to make this morning for tonight's dinner. Hope it tastes as good as it reads.

Weather is beautiful lately but we have been having a lot of wind so I stay indoors because all the trees and other plants are full of pollen.

I hope you all have lovely peaceful days.

Paula, I can relate to your friend who feels cold all the time. That was me before my 2 surgeries last year. Even yet, I get chilled easily. I have both a sweater and a poncho that is in the car, so if we go someplace that has A/C I will not get overly cold. My feet now have neuropathy, fortunately without pain, but they're tingly with some numbness and the feeling of support hosiery just on the bottoms o the feet and completely in my toes. There's am odd sensation of maybe coldness to them, although they feel normal to the touch. This has been since I lost that bad leg swelling that almost hid my toes.
Aging isn't easy. And like snowflakes, everyone seems to be different in their experience.

Barb, it's so nice to see you posting!!!
I know what you mean about a bazillion doctors, and they all bring with them 1-4 "assistants" (who are still learning the specialized fields). 🙄 I'm glad you've now got doctors who can give you at least a modicum of relief.
I think I'll dig out of the freezer some chicken. I want to make either lemon or apricot chicken. Have to decide which flavor to go for. (Heating kielbasa with its side veggies is too easy, a no-brainier. Will save that for another day.). 😊
You inspired me with your Korean beef, but Asian foods have salty sauces that I must avoid!
