      Good Morning! It's started with sun, but the clouds are rolling in as predicted. We've had 3 straight days of sunny warm weather though, so I'm not going to complain...yet. LOL!

      Yesterday was Field Trip day with Blaise's class. We had a good time. There was still an hour of school left when we got back, and I was mean and left Blaise there to come home on the bus. I came home and did a few things, including a nap, before he got here. I just needed some quiet time. Corky finished mowing the yard. Most of it was too wet on Saturday when he started, and yesterday is was dried out enough.

      This morning I'm heading into Aldi's to stock up on needed baking supplies. Then it's home to get my thoughts together and start getting things started & organized. I had hoped to take Aunt Maye to B&B this afternoon, but she's too busy. Bugger.

      Have a good one all!

        Good morning all.

        Got the garden tilled yesterday. Since it was the first tilling, it tilled up muddy clods. It has to be tilled 3 times to get the dirt real crumbly. Of course that means it has to "air out" between tillings.

        Also got the weed and feed spread between showers yesterday. Went to get the nitrogen for the garden so picked up a bag of weed and feed for the yard as well. Will even spread some nitrogen on the yard maybe in a month or so. Will take the drop spreader over to the lake and put nitrogen on my yard over there as well.

        Today I have no plans as of this very minute. That may change after I go outside to see how wet the garden is after our brief showers yesterday.

        Everyone have a wonderful day.

        The task ahead of us is never as great as the Power behind us.
        Life is to be enjoyed, not just endured.

        Cloudy morning from here. Rained yesterday but cleared enough for evening baseball practice. Andrew and his father left right after supper so it was an early night for me. Took a shower and watched the Cardinals lose again. Not off to a stellar start this season but then again I think they like to play in the heat of summer. Hockey playoffs start tomorrow. Picked up some plants while home yesterday but now need pots so think I will run out to Big Lots since they have the cheapest pots, pick up some dirt and stop by the Nails place to see if they can color my toes this week. Could not get in to my regular place. Also need to check with Scott to see if he is coming home for Easter...I have his birthday present here that I did not mail it in case he was coming home. If he is coming in I need to get food in. Need to also check with the kids and see if they are interested in dying eggs this week. Nothing of any importance going on just normal running. Have a good day all and hope some of you see some sun...not looking good from here.

          I woke up to rain! I didn't think it was supposed to rain today, but have learned not to count on the tv weather. I have a fast trip up to Redding after daycare to go to Macy's. Unless it turns crazy I am going!
          Because one child had a funeral in the family and another doesn't come on Monday and Tuesday, today should be a low count day like yesterday. 4 children is a nice number, but even so, the 4 yesterday managed to be crazy. Mondays can be like that: everyone is happy to see each other, probably didn't have naps and who knows what they ate?!
          Hope you all have a good day. Don't work too hard; take a break and give yourself credit for all you are doing! I am always amazed and motivated by you all.

            Good Morning.

            Storms all night. Power kept clicking on and off. Lightening lit up the house - inside. But it has all slowed down this morning.

            Not a lot to report. Bloodwork yesterday was OK. So no more shots or transfusions for a week.

            Company coming on Friday. Want to get organized for that.

            Hugs to Everyone.

              Good morning, everyone. 😄
              Looks like I'm the last to post this morning.
              Yesterday was a good day. The weather was warm, but felt cooler because of the strong but cool breezes.
              We went out to lunch. Then stopped at the Bed Bath & Beyond store in the same strip mall, and I got a lilac blossom scented candle in a jar. (It smells heavenly when it's lit.). After that, a stop at Target for some small items.
              Then, off to the movies, where we saw Going In Style. Any movie with Morgan Freeman in it is worth seeing. IMHO
              I've followed Morgan Freeman, since he was E.Z.Reader on Electric Company, a kid's show. We still quote from one of his lines back then. And what other actor got to play God successfully (in TWO movies)!!!! He's just that good.
              Then we stopped at the neighborhood grocery store afterwards. Picked up some basic stuff.
              I sure got some much needed exercise during the day.
              Then we read our iPads til we finally realized how late it had gotten. I was nearing the end of a Mary Higgins Clark novel (All By Myself, Alone). I'd nearly forgotten how really good she is, and the stories are "clean". I finished the book this morning.
              So today I've got some cookin' to do. E loved those meatloaf patties, so I'm gonna make another batch of them.
              Oh, and today I need to call the company that sprays our yard. The guy never showed up yesterday.

              Have a super-duper good day! ☀️
              ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
              Create a beautiful day wherever you go.
                Got my toes done...they had a walk in policy and I just walked in! While sitting in there Jon called and I have to meet the bus and I thought he was grilling but he isn't so needed to get the pork steaks browned and will finish them off in the oven for an hour then turn the oven down and let them warm until supper. Should be falling off the bone, mashed potatoes and ready for the Cardinals to play again tonight. So no other running for me today...will get pots and dirt on another day. I also like Marry Higgins Clark..her books are clean and also normally have a good plot. Fast reads! Off to brown the pork steaks.
