Good morning! Another sunny morning but rain is predicted for some parts of the area...naturally since it is opening day in St. Louis! Blues in the afternoon and then Cardinals this evening. Blues made the playoffs Friday night so I am expecting more double days in the future. Never did get to the nursery yesterday but Jon promised to go this morning. I need a big bags of potting soil and mulch plus want to look over plants....need a man's strength to haul that. Yesterday he took off for the day then came in to get a phone call and meet his best friend and wife for drinks...have no idea when he got in. All I know is I slept great last night for the first night in a while. Andrew's mother is coming this afternoon to pick up the extra deep freeze. With Sierra moving all her junk back in space is in short demand in the basement. She has several totes of gymnastic trophy's that could be thrown out but she is not ready to give that up yet. Her dad has tried to get her to just keep the first places and pitch the others but she is not ready to give it up. So the extra deep freezer is going. Mommy dearest is wanting that stuff gone so she doesn't have to mess with it 'if' she leaves. School chums meeting this week but it is the only day I have home next week and do not want to give it up. I didn't go last month so maybe next month. Guess I should be up and dressed when son shows his smiling (or if it was a late night not so smiling) face. Throwing mulch bags will put him back in shape...hahaha! Well, guess I have shown you nothing is going on around here. Have a great Sunday everyone...going to spend mine in front of the tv.

        Good morning Maye and Elaine!
I thought I'd 'way overslept this morning, the sun was so bright! I was up at 6:30, though. Today will get to 80° ~ lovely day ahead.
I'm actually back to breathing normally, the cold seems fully gone - at long last.

A bit of yard work today, but right now nothing else is planned. I have my mocha and will be getting the newspaper from the driveway.

        Hope everyone has a super-duper day! ☀️️

Hey Maxie, you're posting early this morning. 😄

Good morning! I am hungry, Elaine, if that helps...I was dreaming about the different kinds of chocolate my friend uses and explaining how to spell them! And I am not a candy maker...go figure. It is time for chocolate bunnies, though and peanut butter eggs.
We are home today with church speakers on tv.
Becky made a dessert called Peaches and Cream bars for the shelter last night. She said they Loved them and one younger guy asked her for the recipe! Not sure how he will use it, but I told her I would get another can of peach pie filling and she can make it again for next week.
They are always so appreciative of whatever we bring, but this seemed to really go over well.
Sunny and warm yesterday, but the wind kept things blowing and was pretty annoying trying to get from the car to the store and not look like I just got out of bed.
Chicken salad sounds good, Elaine. I think I will make one for us as well.
Hope all who are on the RT have a wonderful day. the robins are singing and that is some of the best music to start my day!

Good SUNNY Morning! Yesterday was dreary & wet all day.

Didn't accomplish a whole lot yesterday. Just puttered around in the morning until my customer came & picked up her cupcakes. We then went for Chinese for lunch. I ended up taking a 2 1/2 hr nap during the afternoon. That's why I have to set an alarm, or else I do that. I didn't yesterday.

This morning we went to church & SS. This week was Missions week and normally we have representatives for area missions come & speak, but this year they set up about a dozen mission projects around that church to complete and to be sent out. We did this during the SS hour. This afternoon I'll be cooking food for Cork to take to work this week and a new recipe for chicken & dumplings made in a crockpot. The last dish is going with me to cards tonight. My Aunt P is going to be our 4th. I feel a nap coming on. Yesterday's nap screwed up my sleeping last night though.

          Have a good one all!
