Yesterday I started getting "spammed" by our Game Room here. I got about a dozen or so game posts in my email. Today I got even more. And I haven't been in the game room for quite some time!

What's going on, and what can be done about it???

Are you subscribed to any posts? Do you have notifications turned on? What do they say?

Checking further, the site is doing exactly what you are asking it to. Notify you of replies.

If you don't want to receive notifications, you will need to turn them off. http://roundersonline.org/settings/notifications will help you with that.

Im subscribed to the Family Room, and on occasion, the Kitchen.

Notifications are on, everything is checked except "confirm ..."
The Game Room is not reflected in notification posts.

I'm getting them too. I've never asked for email notifications but when I looked last night, the boxes were checked. I unchecked, clicked on update. Today, I again had a lot (20+) of new email notifications. The boxes are all unchecked so I don't know what's going on.

I cleared everything yesterday, checked it again today and it was all cleared so I shouldn't be getting emails but I had more tonight. There's a glitch somewhere.

I have the same problem. Used to just getting emails linked to posts I made, but now they are coming from the Game Room, where I do not post.

Turned off notifications. Will see how that works. Thanks NS!

I've always had notifications turned off. Today, I counted and had 40 email notifications of posts on every board. I hope this can be fixed soon.

The emails are sent from admin@roundersonline.org

I turned off the setting allowing emails from admin. I'll see what happens.

And all the boxes at http://roundersonline.org/settings/notifications are unchecked? And the "email notifications" dropdown is set to OFF?

Everything on mine is unchecked. And the email notifications setting is "off, through my message center only"

On the account page, I unchecked the 'receive email from administrators' box too.

I am still getting notifications.
