Good morning ...

sun is shining , warm going to hot!.. promises of thunderstorms ,, so will write fast and then shut down computer.

Yesterday as a good day... got lots of little things done.. and in late afternoon gd, Hannah came to help plant the marigolds... she did the kneeling and digging. I watered the holes. and the we covered the area with peat moss. dry "dirty" stuff....but looks so nice... so thankful for help.. so now all the flowers are in ..........that leaves the three tomato plants to put in ,,,Davids request... so he better help..they will need tied to little sticks real soon.. ( I'm betting they will die.. )...

No I am not working this week end...I wish I was working tomorrow evening...but I wasn't scheduled...Doesn't mean that I have a quiet week end though..Today I am going with the activities group that I joined after moving over here...our activity is an hour long boat ride on the Mississippi river and lunch. Not sure what will come of the rest of my day....Dad is still here through Sunday night or Monday.

In the morning my uncle is coming to help my dad move the garage door back to it original location I will super vise...we may all go out for lunch after they are finished. I am supposed to have a meeting at church tomorrow night not sure if I am going or not.

Just cooked a pound of bacon in the oven, made blueberry buttermilk pancakes and ironed 6 pair of pants.

I think I am done for the day.

Good Morning! Wow....where is everyone?

Yesterday was good. Made the pie & iced the cake for the restaurant and got them delivered. After Blaise got home (early dismissal) we headed into town for lunch at Arby's. Becca drove separately so that she could just continue on to her apt. Blaise & I stopped at Aldi's for a few things. Once Corky got home, we went out to mow. I push mowed for an hour and he drove the tractor and did the major part of the mowing. I consider pushing good exercise. Kathy took Blaise into town for a Jeep car show. She came home so mad & disgusted with him. He was thirsty & hungry and was very grumpy with them. Told her it was payback for when she was a rotten kid. I then fed him & got him to bed. What did she expect when they were gone 4 hrs?

This morning we went into town to get the last 2 vehicles registered here in PA. We sat for almost an hour waiting for our turn at the DMV only to find out they no longer do that there and we just had to go down the road to the notary. Stopped at WM too. Not sure what the rest of the day will bring. If the storms hold off, Blaise & I are going to take a dip in the pool.

Super windy day. Started yesterday and will be windy all weekend. Today it is 20mph sustained winds with gusts up to 30.
Not a good day for my hair. I am getting my visor out!
Running out in a minute to get errands done and have an appointment.
It is sunny, so I am not complaining.
Have a great day. One of my favorite errands today is going to the used bookstore.

Good Morning, must have really slept once I got back to bed (up with leg cramps). Got a hold of the dentist office yesterday and will go in Wednesday, hopefully she will pull the last of the teeth and maybe fit for dentures. Talked to the girl about what was going on and why I want to get those done now instead of waiting, she said that she will talk to the Dr. Monday and call me back to tell me what she said. Dr doesn't like to do the fast ones because she feels they are poorly made but because of the situation she may agree so that I don't end up not having anything for however long.

Donna, face it Kathy doesn't have that "mommy" thing that kicks in and tells her she needs to carry some sort of drinks and snacks when she has a little one with her. People have laughed at both my daughters for carrying bags with water and granola bars and stuff like that when they went with friends who had kids, even though they didn't have any of their own, they were prepared. Of course they grew up having little ones around all the time, between the number of cousin's and friends that I have with little ones, there was never a shortage. Both of them still have some little something in their purse at any given time incase there is a little one needing a snack or something to entertain them for a bit while they are out.

Beth are you going to a casino that actually moves? Those are the best ones since you can only be on it for a set time, like I said only take a set amount that you can afford to loose with you, so that you aren't tempted to blow more than that. Gambling is like anything else, you can go and enjoy yourself, maybe come out ahead, as long as you control it and not let it control you. Have a cousin that I'm sure now he would be considered with autisim but when he was little it was just "he's slow in some areas, but really above average in others". he goes to the casino's once a month and does the only takes what he knows he can afford to loose with him, and he does fine. His big thing is bingo, at the first of the month sets aside his entertainment money, and then figures out how many bingo games he can go to and how much he can spend at each one, if he happens to win, he puts that money in an account to save for a really big bingo trip (bus trip that is centered around playing bingo.

Maye,I am here..The day just flew by..Try too keep cool....I am doing fine..The furbabies found there spot..And cool spot..It it is in the high 90's..

Hello, everyone.
I forgot to charge my iPads last night. Then in came a video of our GDs graduation ceremony last night. E transferred it to our TV screen for better viewing. We didn't watch the entire thing. She was the 2nd one called, and we fiddled to get a decent view of her. Then he put it on the TV, to view again. Then we fast-forwarded to the ending portion. It was well done --- no outrageous noise blasters, no yelling from the stands, they followed their scripts like real young adults!
(What does that say about AZ grads???)

And that's my news for today. 🌵 Ho-hum!
