Good Morning! It's another snowy one out there. We didn't get the 3-5 they were predicting, but there is at least 2" out there.

Yesterday was good. Blaise & I went shopping and I took him to Arby's for lunch. Came home, put things away, and got the car loaded for the concession stand. Made a roaster full of chili and made up taco meat with the other hamburger I had bought. I was praying everything would get canceled, but I went ahead and made it all anyways because it all could be frozen.

Got up this morning & finally got the email I was hoping for all last evening....the games have been canceled! YEA!!!! I was NOT looking forward to standing out there in the freezing cold (high of 33) and wind. Everything will go into the freezer until next week. Now I have to still go to the church for 9am to help assemble the food for tomorrow's dinner that's going to the homeless shelter. That won't take long. Don't know what I'll do with the rest of my day since I didn't plan on being home. Cook my family a nice dinner I guess. Blaise just learned and LOVES playing UNO, so maybe we'll go visit my Mom and play a few rounds.

Mark was here .. early... and so was the snow... wow.. looks like mid ,December. ... BUT if the sun peeps through ,, it will be gone ...the road crews got one last ,( I hope). overtime night.. ... and If my silly husband gets out to clean the front walk .. he needs to be committed to nut house..

no big plans for today... could get into this computer and delete a bunch of old file just for the fun of it.. OR keep reading on my stack of books...
of course there is always a kitchen drawer or cupboard that would like my attention....
the youth at the church are organizing a rummage sale for some date in May... so I could go around and collect "stuff" to take over there too.
........can always find things to do in a house..

Good morning..up early not because I want to be but because my sister started texting me at 7 on a Saturday morning..needed a picture of the old hat that I have from our Great Aunt's Collection. So I nicely got out of my nice warm bed and sent her one.

Not sure if I mentioned it or not but please pray for the people that come to the adult daycare and those of us that care for them. I don't want to go into detail but there is a ALOT of stress and tension there right now. I know that my supervisor/friend had a long day yesterday. I could tell when I talked to her for a minute.

Today my friend Maggie is coming to get me to help paint her house on the inside..and then her husband is cooking out on the grill. I made brownies and 4 bean salad. I learned this week maggies family loves brownies and cookies and she doesn't keep that kind of thing in her house...so anytime that I am going to her house I will make brownies.

Good morning.
Today will be sunny, 83° --- nice day for a haircut. But tomorrow will drop to the 60's with rain forecasted.
We did have some rain yesterday and the day before. Yesterday there was a twister that didn't touch down, supposedly common in the spring here.

Nothing much going on here worth mentioning.

Good morning, all. A lovely, rather warmish, rainy morning. Even though our drought isn't officially considered to be over, it is nice to see things so much greener than last year.

No serious plans for the day. Mopping kitchen is on the list but kitchen is tiny so it goes fast.

Both kids stayed last night and are still sleeping. Guess I should shower and head out for donuts or something. Have no idea how long Sierra will stay since she has to work this afternoon and was surprised when she showed up. Cold morning after a heavy freeze last night and another expected tonight. Cardinals finally won one and Blues play last regular season game tonight with playoffs starting next week. Andrew up wanting to talk and I cannot do two things at once anymore. Have a nice time Pat, sorry you are up so early Beth, Maye enjoy your day Jo so glad you are feeling better...determined, have a wonderful wedding day. Happy Saturday all!

I love Saturdays like this: no extra agenda at all. I super cleaned yesterday so my kitchen looks good.
Usually, after cooking for the shelter there is a lot to clean, wash, put away.
Overcast with a 30% chance of rain.
I am going through clothes today for a fundraiser yard sale. If they have some way to hang clothes up, they will sell more, but I am not in charge and not looking to take on any more than I have!

Cold here today but sun is shining brightly. Nothing on my agenda today but plenty of laying around to try to get the fluid down. Works better than the Lasix. Been having trouble breathing because of all the fluid I am retaining. Oh well, that's nothing new. Did manage to get a couple loads of clothes done this morning. Small things like that are so hard even with the oxygen.
