it is now 2.50pm.... wow , I have to get that coffee pot fixed... sure took a long time to brew me that cup of coffee.

but the dishes got done. bed made. house tidied up.. phone calls made.. lunch prepared. bills made out..

and a book finished and returned that was on the Nook reader...
guess what... it was the book that kept me away....!...

Good Morning, today guess we are going to take the cans off to recycle.I hope we have as much as I think we do. Between the cat food cans and we have picked up cans from Katie 3X we should have quite a bit.

Pat, I wonder if the concert is put on by different people in different cities, it was in Chicago awhile back and everyone was talking about what a great show it was.One woman who had seen each of them in concert said that she felt that she was actually watching them for real, that the impersonatiers were that good.

Please say a little prayer for my daughter and son-in-law. She lost her job (new bosses who brought new people in) and then he has gotten knocked down in his (same sort of thing) so now they are having to adjust to 1/2 the income and trying to do the whole wedding they are both stressing out big time. He is not used to having to tell his children "no" when they want a new toy or gadget. I told him that the kids will forget all about those type of things. What they will remember is the Daddy who was there, at their school functions playing ball with them. That to them his time if more than money can buy. What is going to count is that he pushes through and shows them that a REAL MAN pushes through and shows them how to handle things that life throw at them.

Did the world end and 'someone' forgot to tell/take me? I have had some very bad thoughts lately! Going to rain this afternoon and storm this evening. First I have to get out for...ta da...grocery shopping. Last night I threw out left over pork roast with gravy, left over mashed potatoes and a frozen veggie with canned biscuits and they all ate like pigs down to scrapping the bowls. Maybe I am just trying to hard with this meal planning stuff? Kids got their Easter baskets last night and had a ball going threw them. As long as Andrew believes Sierra will get a basket and she loves it. They both have new Cardinal shirts in honor of baseball season being a few days off. And boy are the Blues hot!! I love this season when both sports overlap, one coming in and the other starting playoffs. Need to shower and plan a meal or two before shopping although I seem to do most meal planning in the grocery store. Have a great Wednesday..

Good morning...our garbage trucks have already come and I have got them back behind the fence and out of sight.
Baby and sister just arrived. Teething has begun. Wish me luck.
I had something I was going to say and can't remember it now...oh! Our Walmart opens today after 10 years in the process! Thanks to all the negative people trying to put up barriers. I think I will check it out after daycare...I am excited to see if the clothing options are better than they have been.
My snickerdoodles did not turn out fluffy and cake like as the picture showed...the kids ate them, but I will be looking for another recipe.
No wind today, and temps in the low 70's...happy for the kids to be able to,play out .

Good Morning! It's sunny though there is a nip in the air.

Yesterday I shopped for the concession stand and had the car packed within an inch of it's life. Even Blaise was surrounded with groceries there in the back seat. Of course I forgot a few things even though they were written on my list and I got some things I didn't know I NEEDED. Still trying to find someone to work with me after this week. I talked to one girl last night but she doesn't want to commit to anything ahead even though she needs the work. My friend Lori is moving to SC in the near future & she's packing up stuff. She brought me over some kitchen stuff last night. Like I need more kitchen stuff!

This morning I had to head into town as soon as Blaise got on the bus. Had an early appt but he was still late coming in...good thing I like this new guy. Went to Aldi's afterwards to pick up personal groceries this time plus the items I forgot. Now to get all that stuff put away and start working on some items for Saturday. Karen canceled dinners for this week & next, so I have some extra time. I know Blaise wants to go to the library, so we may do that later this afternoon.

Good morning...
Today I go see the specialist the NP referred me to. If I didn't read MyChart, I wouldn't have known about it. That was quick.

Yesterday's winds were heavy all day. Today is overcast and will only go to 62°. I don't need this.

One foot's swelling has gone down a bit. Not the other, though. At least it's something.

It's going to be a long day for me.....I barely slept most of the night. Stomach discomfort all night long.
Maybe I'll go back and get a quick nap..

Good morning, all. Came by earlier but nobody was here. Now I'm about to start my day. Had to have breakfast so I could take a pain pill. darned neck is doing it's yearly pain in the neck thing. Usually does it in Jan. so it's running late again.

Once again the firemen are here for my neighbor. This is the second time this week. She is in her 90's and the sweetest little person. She was so full of pep when I first came here and loved to dress up for Red Hat day. Then she got sick about 8 or 9 months ago and just barely gets home than she has to go back. I think she should be somewhere that she has full time care but it's none of my business. Saw her son go by a bit ago so she must have called him.
Don't know if she won't go to a care home or if her son doesn't want her to.

I would rather do that than have to be found gone 3 days later.

Guess I'm about through fir now. Need a cup of coffee. See you all later.

Yes, Barb, your neighbor needs more care and should go to maybe an assisted living place. Possibly she or even her son doesn't want to spend the money to do so.

Had a wonderful lunch with Patty and Walt yesterday at a new to us place. Patty and I shared a pizza made of homemade cheese. So yummy. Wasn't a crumb left. In the morning I had taken Bim to a new dentist. He has one filling and a crown on another tooth. Thank goodness he has dental insurance and it takes care of a goodly amount of it.

No special plans for today.
