Good Morning... someone must have turned the lock last night...

sun is shining .. but 35 is kind of cool just yet.

no big plans for the day... but can find something to sort, toss and rearrange..going to get granddaughter Carrie to
come one day and wipe down all the kitchen cabinets. ( that require stepladder .. in fact will make a list everything that needs a ladder and have her clean it. .
The Daffodils are finally in full bloom.....weeds and all.. the flower bed along the east wall of house. is the only place I plant flowers these days.. and I am so wanting to have it replanted in some sort of low shrubbery ..I love the flowers .but no longer enjoy the care of them. ( never did enjoy that part,,,I am not a "dirt" person. never enjoyed working in garden kind of thing ). I prefer to wash it ..

Good SUNNY Morning! MUCH nicer than yesterday.

Well the door is open, but it seems everyone is either sleeping in or afraid to come through. I'll be among the first.

Yesterday was good. My butt was dragging big time in the morning. We took Becca to Arby's before she continued onto college. Came home & FINALLY found some energy to clean and do some laundry. Get life back in order. Last night I zipped through last week's NCIS and DWTS recorded shows then watched the newly recorded DWTS.

Now today I HAVE to start working on the concession stand idea. I've made a shopping list, and Blaise & I are going to head into town and see if we can knock off most of the items. We'll start at SAMS and go from there. I'm not a big SAMS Club fan, but there are certain things that they are the place to go.

Good morning, Maye and Donna. Frost again for the first time in about a month. Probably the last time for that until next winter. Oour final frost days are coming earlier and earlier.
Nothing much to tell about here. Was invited to daughter Kare's but just didn't feel like going over there. Personal reasons.

Made myself a roasted chicken leg with Indian spices, rice, and green peas for my dinner. So exciting!

Well, the show "Million Dollar Quartet" was a bust. What a joke. I've seen better LOCAL productions. I told Chris if I had paid $90 for those tickets, I would have been raising hell to get my money back.

Today - bored already. No work to do so I'll just sit here quietly and read a book - I really hate to ride the clock like this, but it is necessary to pay the bills!

Slept great again last night. Sierra called yesterday morning and met her father and me for breakfast/lunch. Then we all walked the mall killing time, came home to do the weekend laundry and change beds. School resumes today so Drew will be back...missed the little guy and his strange sense of humor. Haven't missed the homework though! Or the cooking. Cold nights but the days are sunny and warm quickly. Need to think about yard work and planting but today is bill paying day. Have a good day Jo and everyone one else. House is cold so thermostat must think I am gone again. Hope it gets its act together by air conditioning weather!

Good morning.
I was up earlier, but a double colostomy accident occurred. Time consuming!
I think the only way to go from here is up! ☺️

Yesterday I saw my oncologist's NP. All the nurses said OMG! when E wheeled me in. My feet up to my hips are swollen.....adding 20 lbs water weight. I also realize I was looking very pale. The NP was quick to deal with the problem, call in a prescription, introduce me to her oscopy nurse, and looked to set up an appointment with a top specialist in the group who can evaluate my condition and be sure everything is okay. She said it's just a matter of finding a clear spot in his books. She said things should be better when I get my staples out.

Other than that, things are quiet here. Well, except that a GS eloped with his girlfriend. Interesting. The girl and my DD do not get along. Too bad.

Good morning! Netting a slow start to daycare, no kids, yet. The baby and his 4 year old sister are staying home. Mom is sick. That really frees up the work load from a 4 month old.
One easy going little boy just arrived. Sunny, but a bit windy today, temps going to 70. Right now it is about 50.
Yesterday I went to the super center and can't wait till ours opens in another day. I won't be going until the crowds thin out, though. One thing that was a bit strange: cosmetics and razors were in a separate section that you Had to pay there for items. I can understand cosmetics, but you think people steal that many razors?
I wonder if the men have to pay for theirs in a separate section...
I have saved all my photos from my old phone to a flash drive and have been deleting them from my new phone ( all transferred over). I am keeping some that I just like to look at..what struck me was how the photos really show my weight loss. When it is over a number of years, I don't see it as well as looking at these photos. From right at 225-227 the high, to my present of 174. This board is the only place I feel ok about posting numbers; too many people out there who just don't know how to be positive.
Moving on, the photos have given me a renewed enthusiasm for staying healthy and getting stronger.
I am working on purging papers. Like not thinking, The kids will want to cut and glue these Christmas cards...next year. Tossing away now. I must look like an instant replay on ESPN, the way I take a paper and put it in a throw away pile, take it out, put it back, take it out...ugh. I come from a long line of keepers!
So, thank you, all of you who are posting about clearing desks, tables and flat surfaces, as I attemp to get rid of all excess papers!

I, too, have been clearing papers. Over heated the shredder! Guess we are all in a house cleaning mode...and to think I hauled all these darn papers over here last July!

Have taken Bim to the dentist for a check up and he has to have a filling and a crown. Sigh. Thank goodness he has dental insurance which pays quite a bit toward everything. Patty and Walt are coming in and we will go out to lunch somewhere.

Nice day here but breezy. At least it has blown the vog away and everything is clear and crisp looking.
