She sits up in her chair a lot and doctors credit her success

She is progressing well and just needs a little more time to fully awaken everything.
The best indication of her status is that she smiled a bunch today. And she moves around better. Gaining strength.

Thanks to Elaine for posting and Ellis for his funny updates. I don't know about anyone else but his humor makes me feel better about Jo's progress. Of course what makes me feel the best is hearing from Jo herself.

What the docs said were waiting to see has passed to the colostomy bag overnight. Finally!
So the infection is apparently clearing up.
This new doc today mentioned trying me on thicker foods. See how it works. Maybe even tonight.
The goal is to strengthen me enough to get me to a PT Facility soon. It all depends how my body cooperates.
