      Good Morning!

Our rain stopped on Monday, but the wind has been horrendous. We have ridge row vents on our roof, and when the wind gets going, it sound like a freight train rumbling through.

John is doing well. Home nurse came by to check his lungs and the pneumonia has cleared. He felt good enough to take our income tax to taxman to be figured.

I will say that as much as I hate that he had to go through that bone marrow biopsy, it was wonderful learning that it it wasn't at all like I thought. He was only under anesthesia 30 minutes and he has felt nothing at all. There is a tiny mark where they went in is all. No pain ever.

So today is trash day and we are going to fill our dumpster with something. Not sure what, but I am ready to throw out unused everything.

Well, better get moving. Have a good day, Everyone.

Good Morning! The snow is coming down slowly but surely.

My energy level has been low the last couple of days. All I got done yesterday was make dinner for my cousin.

This morning is Bible study. Need to come home and do some laundry. Another slow day.

Good Morning ... well the rain came and rained though the night.. woke me at 2.45 and I have been awake since.... (short 10 min nap around 7am).. and now the grass and roofs have the barest hint of snow.. hope the temperature stays high enough that none of this freezes on the roads!... David has a 1.30PM appt. follow up with surgeon...
The Male nurse that came yesterday from the home health care was probably the best person that David could have talked in this recovery period.
The man was in his 50.. had had surgerys of his own.. and stressed what David should and should not expect his body to be able to do.. and WHY.. he told him ,,,Your heart is now in better condition that it was, but... it has been through a great trauma, and was injured.. so it will heal but the effects of the trauma on your whole system will be with you for quite a while....
#1 on his list .. learn never to hold your breath.. when we are angry we tend to hold our breath., when you have a difficult bowel movement , you push, and hold your breath.. when you lift or tug . by depriving you body of that moment of oxygen ............he likened it to a broken bone or sprain you had when you were young.. and that s where the aching arthritis settles in when you are 60..... did David good to have a man tell him all this .

Hi Pat, SassyG. and Elaine... good to hear John's lungs are finally clear.

hope all you other ailing folks are feeling better..

gotta get dressed and get some houseworky stuff done.. the rest of the day will be run and without much sleep I am going to be soooo tired.
Take it one Day , one step, at a time.. cause that's all we really have.

Good Morning today looks better than yesterday, but then yesterday started out fine. Was supposed to have a dentist appointment, the girl called asking if I could move it up or change it to a different day "because the weather" told her it wasn't even snowing here. Kenny said no way we could make it that early so had to call her back, as I was talking to her the 2nd time the snow moved in fast. Snow and wind all day. Power never went out completely but kept flickering every so often, reset the microwave clock and Kenny's computer every so often but it didn't shut mine down. Wind is still blowing this morning but no snow, plows came by last night.

Glad to hear that hubbies are on the mend I know it's a lot off Aunt Maye and Elaine's minds.
JoGee how is your Sister In Law doing after her surgery?

                Good morning....
I was awake way too early again, twice. About when I decided to just get up, I fell asleep again. So it's nearly 7a.m. now.
I see the gray of a false dawn.
We've had winds for a couple days now, but I didn't go outside in it. My feet swelling is part of the reason. The swelling is starting to go down today, but they itch like crazy. (I DO watch my sodium, so I have no idea what's going on.)
And I do need to get some stuff done around here. E has been spoiling me terribly.

My SIL.....I don't know what exactly went on during her surgery, but when she woke she was still in terrible pain. They kept her til about 6p.m. before releasing her. My brother was so stressed he forgot to ask the doctors what they actually did. I hope it was on her discharge papers. All he knows is that her problems were stress related; so he's going to try hard to see she's not stressed like that again. I ordered a very pretty bouquet to be delivered to her today.

Well, I guess I'll grab some cereal and hot tea. E had a bad night, so will try to get some sleep this morning.

Wishing you all a very good day. ☀️

Lazy gloomy morning but snow is melting and will be in the 60s this weekend. One thing about late winter snows is they don't hang around long. Have no plans for today but may get up and check the thermostat...darn thing keeps switching to ' nobody is home today' mode. Well, I am home and I am cold! But it is kinda of creepy when the thermostat tells you you are not home today.

Good morning. Sunny here and no wind. We are running about 15* above average. Rain comes back tomorrow and that is fine, too.
I am feeling much improved and trying to do what I can...just haven't got my full hustle back.
Yesterday with two workers here it was a bit of an ordeal keeping their path clear of dogs and kids, but they got finished and now I call the energy guy to come (again) to test the house for energy efficiency and hopefully, get the rebate.
I hope you all can get through your winds, storms and snow with little mess to your day.
Good to hear of those feeling better!
                    Make it a good day!
