Good Morning. Cold day here, as well.

We have a super big large plumbing problem. Have had nephews here since Friday and nothing finalized. We are left with only cold water in the kitchen, laundry, mudbath.
Thankfully, back of the house has its own water heater and we have hot in the bathrooms.

Heading to church this morning. Have a good day, Everyone.

Awake but still in bed with my iPad.
If I ever start stressing again over things, would someone please remind me to remember my tax appointment. I WILL BE OKAY...I will be filing as a head of household because Becky lives at home and that basically is the same as jointly in benefits...
After an hour of talking and in putting numbers I left and went to a fish and chips restaurant I had always wanted to go to. Ate a late lunch/ early dinner and just relaxed.
Today is church and have the Game on as I do whatever else comes up.
My lawn guy came by yesterday with really good dirt from another clients remodel project and filled in the huge hole where my tree was. Such a nice guy!
Our weather was so nice yesterday it felt like Spring! 66* in the afternoon and sunny.
My son made it to Maryland. He had to fly to Denver and do Customs there and change plans. He said even the airport was Super Bowl mania! For some reason his non-stop to Chicago was cancelled, so he had toad one extra stop and change of planes to a very long day. He said it was " pitch black" driving to the Westin in Annapolis last night, but with phone directions from Siri, he made it fine. Technology came through!
I am making a chicken cordo bleu casserole today for my friend and her family.
Hope you all have a great day!

Good morning......the forecast says 79° today. Can that be? I hope so.
Not much going on here. E wants to get to a couple of stores. I need a new mop head or mop. Ever notice the turnover in stores when it comes to mops? We just threw out 3 mops because we can't find the sponges to go on them. We have 2 that might (maybe) be easier to get the sponges for. Otherwise, another new mop. 🙄

We are not sports fans, so won't be watching the big game. But no doubt that will clear up the traffic, and lessen crowds in stores, because of all the sports fans who will be watching.

Elaine, as my mom used to say, "when it rains, it pours"........when one thing goes wrong, it will be followed by other things (in groups of 3s usually). Anyway, I hope the plumbing problem gets fixed right away. It's nice you have such helpful nephews.

Well, I guess I'll fix myself a cuppa ☕️, and get the newspaper.
          Have a good day.😊

We watch baseball and hockey here and that is it. Could never work up any enthusiasm for football so no super bowl here. Last night the Blues won, yay! Jon and Andrew went to the movies and we met up late last night for breakfast so I am the only one stirring. I don;t know if any of you know this but St. Louis does its own Mardi Gras celebration and yesterday was the parade. The city was full of partiers in various shades of sobriety. MetroLink smelled like a bar but everyone was happy with a Blues win and others after an afternoon of celebration. Do not know how long Sierra will stay today but her dad is grilling ....she is bogged down with homework but seems to take it calmly as she plows away. She has cut back her hours at work even more so she realizes what priorities are. Looks like a sunny Sunday. Elaine, I hate house problems and they popped up at the worst time, like anytime! Hope John is feeling better. People are beginning to move around but a nice sleep in morning is a good thing especially after a late night out! Enjoy your football and hope your team wins.

Morning! The sun is shining brightly, which is nice. Wished it would help my mood.

Yesterday was OK. This computer was all but dead and Corky couldn't even get to the desktop. My brother (who has a major in computers) came and eventually got it to come up under safe-mode and got it to finally get set back for 3 days ago & it's been fine ever since. That took the morning. I brought up all the bags of apples & sorted out the rotten ones. Now I hope to peel & freeze them in the next couple days. Kathy did show up (along with Creepy Jimmy) and they took Blaise out for lunch to Arby's and she kept him while we went to the chiropractor. No more headache, though I did have to hear his doom & gloom speech about what all I need to do to get totally healthy....at a HUGE price tag since insurance doesn't pay for any of it. I was NOT in the mood. Just take me out back & shoot me. I don't have the determination, $$, or time to do everything they want you to do.

We came to find a mouse in the house this morning & not a ONE of the THREE cats has found it in them to catch it...stupid cats!

I'm in a funk this morning. Church didn't help, though it was an excellent sermon & service. I don't know if Cork will have the game on or not.

                Have a good one all!

                  Aloha all!

(((((((((((((DONNA)))))))))))))))) Hope you get out of your funk soon. You do need some down time just for yourself.

A very windy day. I did go outside for a bit but about blew away and it's cool (for Hawaii).

Don't intend to watch the Super Bowl as I'm not into football. They are having a Super Bowl party this afternoon in the TV room. Might wander down just for a peek.

Elaine, hope you can get your plumbing problem fixed.

Have a good rest of the day all!

Donna, any of your friends have a miniature schnauzer? Ours were better mousers than our cats. They were bred to get the barn vermin and even centuries later, those dogs can smell a rat, er, mouse!
