Rise and shine...Another cold day..

My two little cat woke me up early..

Good SUNNY Morning! My goodness....we are a bunch of sleepy heads today. I got to sleep in myself until Blaise so rudely woke me up at 7:45am.

Yesterday was good for the most part though not very productive. Got some cleaning done and laundry. Got all the goodies delivered to the restaurant. Kathy was here for dinner along with Creepy Jimmy. Found pictures they colored this morning with all their names on them & Jim's said DADDY. He is NOT Blaise's bio father! Made Orange Chicken for dinner and added a couple drops of orange oil to the sauce & it made it very tasty.

Not sure what today will bring. I know my computer is totally locked up...virus we think...so I'm using Corky's laptop. I do have a chiropractor appt at 4:30 to see if we can get rid of this daily headache. Kathy supposedly will be here to watch Blaise while we go. If she doesn't show up, we'll just take him. I'd normally go by myself, but this doctor does this at him home for private patients and it's no No-Mans-Land.

but like SassyG picture.. I too looked like that until 6.. son Mark came . made out list of things he is going to pick up aat store and drug store.

Donna,, everyday don't Need to be productive... just get done what Has to be done... and enjoy the winter days when the sun doesn't shine so bright that you see the dust... or worry about the grass or the extra basket of laundry only you know is there... gotta let your body have some "down" time.. ( now folks,,I"m her aunt ,and I can talk to her like this .. cause I love her )

I finally took a sleep aid last night. So tired of waking at 2-3 a.m., which makes for a very long day. So I got 9 hours of solid sleep...a long sleep for me.

Not much going on here worth writing about.
Chores are ongoing, sometimes I just don't feel like it. Life's too short to worry about it all. It'll get done when it gets done.

Maye, it sounds like David is pretty much himself again. I'm so glad.
Elaine, I hope John is feeling better. Hope his doctors find the solution to his problem.

Good Morning! Lots of sleepy heads or everyone had plans for this beautiful Saturday. This afternoon I will pick up Sierra and we will do some shopping and have a late lunch before heading to the hockey game. I love being in the arena to see a game in person but it does get cold! I will slip on an extra pair of socks when we get into the parking lot. Spring training starts in a couple of weeks and between hockey and baseball my sports dreams will be fulfilled. Guess I should get moving...have a great Saturday.

Not a lot planned for today because the house work is done..I just need to dust mop the floors before Tuesday....

I do have to go to the neighbors and talk to them about their dog that will not stay out of our yard...she is digging her way over to our yard....and getting stuck she isn't smart enough to go through the same place she dug...then she uses our yard for a bath room...so that is another thing I get to do today is go out and pick up poop from the back yard..

I need to ride over to grocery store to get chip dip for small group...

Other than that I will probably read

Good sunny late arrival day!
I finished up my search through all pay points and now it will be up to the IRS. ,I have no idea how filing singly ( is that a word?) is different from filing jointly, but I will soon find out. Luckily, the day care numbers were pretty much the same. My accountant will be able to tell me today.
Maye, don't count out a trip. You never know..
I posted a CBS video on Facebook yesterday about school children using the trains by themselves to go to school. It made me so nostalgic for my travels there. I will probably not go again since my son is moving back Stateside, but as I told Maye, not totally counting it out.
Floor cleaning and laundry are the chores here. All the rain makes for lots of clean ups, even with rugs at the doors.
Bethina, if you have disposable plastic gloves, they are great for picking up doggy stuff. It is a daily duty here, some of it out front from free roaming neighbor dogs.
You could tell the neighbors you are afraid their dog might get hurt on the fence...

Glad David is doing well, Maye, and I agree with you about Donna taking some down time. She is trying to please everyone all the time. Can't be done. Can you two ever get together, maybe with Karen too and have a nice lunch out somewhere. Would do all of you a world of good.

Beth, another thing you could do about picking up dog poop is to take a plastic grocery bag, turn it inside out, pick up the stuff, then turn the bag right side up. But the best would get the ownere so stop letting the dog dig under the fence or wall. It shouldn't be your problem.

Nice day here. Have been for my walk. Weekends are rather boring around here as there are very few activities.

If the dog's owner isn't cooperative, then buy a large container of pepper or red pepper. (Bottom row at the grocery store under the spices.)
Sprinkle it generously along the fence line, but not on their property. Pepper tends to repel dogs when they sniff the stuff.
Repeat this after each rainfall, until the dog gets the idea that he isn't welcome in your yard.
