Good Morning.

It is 5:30a here, and we are up and getting ready to make a trip to the hospital. John is having a blood transfusion at 7:30. We met with a Hematologist yesterday, and we have more problems than just pneumonia.

Think of us today and send positive thoughts.

Good morning...today is my long day...I volunteer this morning and go into Saint Louis for a meeting this afternoon...then my sister will take me to run and errand then I will come home and do some cleaning and cook a pizza for Supper...I think that I will fry some hamburger to go on the pizza and add a little bit of extra cheese...

Then we are off to see about getting a new printer.

We have 30° right now, but may get to 61° today. The temps are starting to rise. 😊

Elaine - thinking of both you and John today.

Been up since 2am - was awakened by rain beating on the skylights. Clocked in at work at 4:30a.m. Am so tired I don't think I will make it through the entire day.

Mistake in Quickbooks which myself and the accountant are trying to figure out has me in a frenzy.

Boss leaving neon sticky notes on my desk with reports that the accountant has to fix - not me has me worked up too.

Think I'll go home and take a nap.

got an almost nights sleep.. however woke up with aching knees and ankle joints... must be a whopper of a winter storm coming ...just call me "grandpa".. my grandpap predicted bad weather by his joints and was mostly close to being right !..

David doing good. physical Ther.. coming today..

will have to get the sweeper run before she gets here... white cat hairs everywhere..

if any of you have ideas on how to prepare porkchops so they are really tasty but super tender .. would appreciate it .. put in kitchen and I will check back later ..

Pat.. sounds like you need a nap or a tranquilizer pill.

Jo G. Good luck at eye Dr.. and I just bought a new printer... got an epson this time... .still getting acquainted with it.. instruction book did not come with it.. found it on line.. and copy off the pages that I need one at a time.

better get back to my nursing duties.. make sure the old guy takes his pill

Oh....I forgot to mention that one of our newspaper's front page articles is about a jaguar living south of us in the Santa Rita mountains (nearer to Sierra Vista than us, I think....need to see a map!). It's the only known one in our country that is living in the wild. They call him El Jefe.

Maye, yes, we are getting an Epison...they are $40 off right now. I did better with an Epson before, than I am with the current one we have. I don't know if they'll have the same model I liked, but whatever. I'll adjust if necessary.

Pat, a tranquilizer or a yoga class sounds beneficial for you right now.

Sounds like some stress out there for some of you...hoping John gets good news on his blood work and congrats to David for the great progress he is making! Computer problems are way beyond me Pat, hope you get a handle on that quickly and can go home early. Cannot think of anything new from here. Got a haircut and feel human again. She was running behind yesterday and several women were waiting so we had a gabfest. Women I knew and had not seen in a while. Passed the time quickly. I never haul my phone around and when I got to the car had 16 missed calls from my son and granddaughter. When I called Sierra she had left school and was on her way to the house to check on me. Since I did not answer the phone they thought maybe my knee had caused me to fall or something. I do have a reputation for falling but it was just a case of leaving the phone in the car. Nice to know they care or maybe they were just worried about eating tonight. Ack! I have to cook another meal tonight! Jon thawed chicken breast and made some type of a marinade so guess I will figure out what to do with that. Both kiddos here tonight again and Sierra staying over. Andrew tried to eat standing behind his chair last night and when ask why he said he thought he could eat faster standing. No matter cuz the rule is you do not leave the table until everyone has finished...however he is a funny boy and even though we quashed his scientific experiment we had a good laugh. Sunny but cold this morning but I have no thought of venturing out today other than to grab the mail out of the box. Thursday already....days, weeks, months and, gasp!, years are flying by.

Oh, Elaine, prayers and will be thinking of you and John and David all day. So glad you have physical therapist coming to your home, Maye! For stubborn cat hair, a car detailed with pugs said use your pumice stone! I bought a new one and it just sweeps that dog hair up!
We never got above the 40's yesterday, but today is supposed to be in the low 50's.
I have laundry drying and one little boy running around right now...I kind of lost my thoughts for posting.
I used to have an Epson printer, but the ink cartridges were the most expensive. I donated it and checked both Walmart and Costco to see what ink cartridges they sold and then bought a new printer that used cheaper and I could get refills. Which I never have...
Better get breakfast ready. Two more are walking I !

Good Morning. Got thru another night w/o bottoming out, but my level was high this morning. My head is semi-foggy.

Yesterday was great! Waking up w/o feeling like crap does a person good. I cleaned like a mad woman. Then I spent the afternoon in the kitchen. Cooked dinner for us & my cousin Karen. The restaurant called & place their order for Friday, so I baked 2 carrot cakes. One is going in the freezer naked for the next time they order a cake. My evening got a little screwed up or should I say rearranged for me. My SIL stopped to the cupcakes for my niece's birthday gathering she was having last night and when she went out to leave, her car spittered & sputtered. I ended up taking her to pick up my niece who was at baton lessons and taking my niece home so her friends could come & brought my SIL back to the house with me. My brother was here checking out the car. It's still sitting here, so he must have decided to try & fix it himself before having it towed. Doesn't matter, we have tons of space.

This morning I was out the door almost as soon as Blaise left. Aldi's has their chicken breasts on sale for $1.49/lb as long as supplies last, so I wanted to get them fast. I also went to Giant Eagle and used lots of coupons. My total before coupons was $109 and I ended up paying $68...I was thrilled. The best deal was getting the Daisy sour cream that was on sale for $1.79 for $.29 each. I had 5 coupons. Now I'm home & I have to start baking after I get these groceries all put away. Today I'm making 2 german choc pies & 2 choc PB logs.

Oh Elaine, I'm so sorry to hear about John. My prayers are with you both. Keep us updated because now we are all going to worry.
