Hey Aunt Maye - we are officially halfway through January! YAY!

Woke up to POURING rain this morning. Luckily it stopped while I was driving to work - but it is supposed to start back up later today. It's my Saturday to work tomorrow, so I really don't care

Not much new happening here - anything new with y'all?

Good Morning! The sunrise is beautiful this morning.

Yesterday was SHOT running around getting an OFFICIAL birth certificate, then my new drivers liciense so that I then could get my car registered. I kind of waited until the last minute on the car...the OH registration was expiring today. OOPS! Came home & took over a container of veggie soup to Aunt Janet and had a nice visit with them. Came home to a couple pie orders for today.

This morning is pie baking & carrot cake icing. I baked the cakes last night. This evening we are going to my brothers for a pizza & card party. Not sure who all will be coming, but I know Aunt J & Uncle Dave won't be because we don't want to expose him to anyones germs.

Need to get this little man out the door & get busy. Have a good one all!

Good morning.....
Today we will be heading to Phx for the baby shower tomorrow. Tomorrow is also E's birthday. We will see what the day brings.

Middle DD made a lot of progress yesterday. Turns out that our bank has teams to help her through her problem. They've frozen him out of all her accounts, she's removed him from her auto insurance (he can lose his truck-driving license if he's caught without insurance), they'll help her sort out the tax situation.... he no longer has any affiliation with the bank! He will be without her phone service as of today as well. Then her supervisor at work will be giving her extra hours, and will try to get her a small pay raise as well.
The good thing, I think, is that her teenage daughter overheard the phone conversations, so now knows the home situation....if her dad should show up, she won't be taken in by his smooth-talking ways. I don't think the guy foresaw any of this coming, but he has lied and cheated and broken his last bond with DD. I'm glad that DD's new apartment is gated, so he can't just show up there unexpectedly.
So enough of the drama now.

Today there's packing to do yet. We were out nearly all day yesterday so that didn't get done. It'll be a long drive, so I'll remind E to take a break at the halfway point. Finding the baby shower will be interesting. It's an address I'm not familiar with at all.

I did get a nice trim/shaping to my hair yesterday....at about half price, which I didn't expect. And a discount I didn't know I had coming. 😄

And that's my bit of news for today.

Good Morning, Friends!

Crazy weather here, as well. It was springlike yesterday. No coat needed. The backyard was filled with Robins. So beautiful.

We were gone all day yesterday and will be out and about today. Not getting much done in the house, but it will always wait.

Good morning everyone.

Have to make a run to Wally World early today. Thawed out the ham yesterday for ham and beans. Then realized I wasn't at home where I have everything I need for cooking what I want.

Did not make a trip in the car yesterday as I decided to clean the condo. That took about an hour. At home when I clean, it takes at least 4 hours. About to decide that I don't need a big house or space to survive. But then again, down here you can get outside without freezing your rear off. At home, I can get "cabin fever" real fast during the winter.

Best get dressed get those beans if I want to have ham and beans for supper. Everyone have a great day.

Good morning....a meeting today...heading to my parents for the night and day...My dad will turn 75 Sunday...we girls meaning mom my sis and myself will be hosting a breakfast in his honor at my parents tomorrow...I will meet my best friend and her boyfriend tonight for ice cream...I try to see her anytime I am in town..I may not have a chance to see everyone but I always try to see her. Also we may get to visit some kitties today. IF we have time.

Mom went back to the doctor this week...she will have a port put in and have 4 cemo infusions over the next 12 weeks..we have been told she will lose her hair and maybe sick...I am hoping its not to bad for her.

Good Morning all! Thought I'd get on here before it got late, but I see most of you gals have been here already. I need to come here first thing when I get up, I guess. Have been up since 5am. We are getting some rain this morning, too. Not much going on here. Not sure what I'm doing today. Have already talked to Kim and my sister. I talk to them every day except Sunday. Told them Sunday is my day off. LOL Tomorrow I'm baking brownies for about 50 people. We are having a soup and sandwich lunch after church Sunday. Brownie sundaes for dessert. Everyone have a great day!

ah another good long night of unbroken sleep.. 7 1.2 hrs.. I have a feeling I better store these up . I felt like I was getting a cold.. but got some powerful nasal spray. and grd daug.. brought me Vit C fizzies.. 1000mg of Vit C.. and I do believe it helped... stayed inside all day yesterday..
we are going out to visit a long-time dear friends this morning ... the man went into alztheimer about 1 1/2 yr ago. but had a bad stoke at thanksgiving .which made the alzheiemers take a gigantic leap downhill... . he is now in nursing home care.. we just got this news.. and want to visit him... (privately hoping David don't pick up any germs ).. really wanted to have D. stay away from people contact for 3 more days...

hospital admittance has called and got their info.. waiting on the hospital scheduler for what time next monday he has to be there. secretly I'm hoping for 5 am.. I won't be asleep anyhow.

Pat, I open that picture you posted about "how many days to spring ... everyday.!!!!.

better put a curl in this hair .. and get this day under way... get back home is my desire..

Yesterday was beautiful...close to 60. Today is rain and dropping temps...back to winter! Electrician left yesterday with a big chunk of my checkbook but the job is done and even a new light hung over the sink. We are officially ready for the new appliances in another week and Andrew's mother has a nephew who will take the old stove and fridge. Knowing they will be hauled off and used is a good thing. Talked with my sister yesterday and she may meet me at the mall for a Saturday of shopping and lunch. That would be a nice change of pace. Nothing new from here..Happy Friday!

Happy to get here a bit earlier. Still dark, but not raining. Our outside walks and patio are all wet. Even though the patio is covered.
This will be a clean up and take away weekend. Goodwill must wonder how one person can have so much, but kids left and their stuff stayed my mother keeps giving me her stuff to " give to whomever needs it." She knows I have parents and friends, etc, but it is hard to tell her they probably don't want old style polyester pants...it is just easier for me to get rid of it than for her...and the high school drama department did want some things once!
