Looking forward to the Baby Shower on Saturday; it's also E's birthday, but he's getting pies from me for now, cake later, maybe. I'll call to see if I can get my hair trimmed this week. It's overdue.
Made a cuppa apple-spice tea. What a nice way to wake up.
No particular plans today. Wrap a couple of packages to mail. Do a load of laundry.

Pat, it's great you're taking advantage of such a good opportunity! I'm sure you'll pass it with flying colors.
Sassy, what a funny pic today!

Hope you all have a wonderful day! ☀️
      JoeGee,It is so true...lol..

        Aloha all!

Good grief, Nightstorm, sure hope your back is better. Can you apply heat to it from a heat source such as one of those bean bags you heat in the microwave, or an electric heating pad. That might help too. Try to take it easy so it doesn't get worse.

So that is why I had to recheck in this morning. A new start.

Glad you found the just right kitty, Beth. I have made friends with a semi feral cat here and bring him treats every day. I can't touch him but he touches me by rubbing against my legs. In fact I have to watch it so he doesn't trip me. If he only knew how nice it would be to scratch his ears.

Kayce, so glad to see you here. Haven't heard about you for ages. Do you know I have moved to Maui?

A nice day here. Had a nice walk and met a couple of friends so it took a long time as we had a lot of yakking to do.

Pat, good for you for taking that class! It should really help you in the future.

Hope Maye's David is doing better today.

        Have a good day all!

NightStorm, do take it easy. The meds ease the pain but do not heal your back! When my last baby was born my back went out. A hospital specialist decided to "maneuver" something on my spine, and made it worse. They told me to keep off my feet for a week. Yeah, sure, a newborn, two toddlers, and two kids in elementary school. The doc gave me meds that knocked me out, E made sure I took my meds, and he got someone's grandma to watch the kids and keep an eye on me so I couldn't get up. After that, there was soreness for some time, but I could walk and maneuver and do the necessary things for my kids. I will never forget that.
I wish my meds made me feel as happy as yours do for you. 😉

Maye, those inflatable decorations are worst. They leave the deflated during the day, and it looks like trash on the lawn.
The winds would otherwise carry them off, though. They finally put them away last week.

Kayce, just take things slow and easy. Glad to see you posting again.
