today is Doctor Day again for David... been a lot of that going on at our house in the last couple of months... this will be Dr. # 6 since Sept.
... finally got his problem narrowed down to a heart problem... Last week He saw the Cardiologist and today he sees the Heart surgeon..
...will keep you all posted on what today's report is. later this afternoon... David seems to be so calm and Im the one that is nervous..

its is so nice to be back to familiar ,comfortable, wonderful home...

Good morning...volunteering this morning....still feeling kinda yucky...seems like this year I have gotten everything has come down the pipes at me....first the flu for the first 3 days of the year...now sinus/cold crap....at least last night I didn't cough in the night to the point that it woke me....I will put vicks on my feet before I put socks and shoes on and the cover myself in the oil blend that my mother and sister made me...seems to help...

This evening I am going to have dinner with my sister and her family when we go to pick up my nieces bird..

Will come home and nap between.

Good morning.
It's 46° today, and only going to 50°, with a 100% chance of rain today. 3 storm centers heading right at us, according to the news.
Yesterday's Doctor appt went well. This PCP takes me seriously, and considers the whole picture. We had lots to discuss. Apparently my not losing weight is of no big concern....he said the weight has been steady and looks good on me. But he has referred me to another clinic for the ongoing gastro problems. Plus to a vascular surgeon.....it seems that the Filter that was installed in my veins in 1989 was supposed to be a temporary thing. My blood thinners are working fine, and I no longer have DVT problems, so I need to get an opinion of whether it should be removed. I personally would say, at this point, leave it alone. Besides, I have some mighty big scars cross-crossing my torso, my core muscles are already pretty damaged. Well, we will see what comes of it.
Also, the aches and pains that have entered my life are osteo-arthritis. Oh, the fun of aging!

Good morning everyone.

Thank you for getting me back to "familiar grounds" Nightstorm. I'm just not comfortable on facebook. I'll probably will go there to view thing, but doubt that I'll post much.

Pat, I want to thank you for telling me about the facebook retreat when RT went down.

Well we are expecting rain here in the warm south ( can't say sunny today). Rain is to start about noon and end about early evening. Am enjoying it here so far.

Our forecast is for rain all the way through next week! Not sure when my heater "mother board" will get installed. I think I will call one of the guys directly and have a little talk.
Hot washcloth over the sinus area, Pat, is what helps me. Hope you get relief soon.
Two early kids this morning. I am being a bit more creatively lenient...letting them do some things we don't usually do ( make tents with blankets) and play indoor camping..just trying to weather this weather! I help make the tent in such a way as to be able to see what is going on...

Good SUNNY Morning. I'm tired though. Won't get to sleep in until next Saturday. Warmed up a bit today.

SO SO GLAD to be back here. HOME. Yesterday wasn't super productive, but that was OK. My 2nd cousin Missy is up visiting her grandparents (my Aunt & Uncle) and I invited her & her little guy over for a visit yesterday. The lil guys hit it off & they maybe coming back over for a little tomorrow for another visit so the boys can play. My big project yesterday was laundry. Whahoo!

This morning I headed into town first thing because I ran out of printer paper for a project. I'm printing off all my letters & lists and stuffing the envelopes so that come October they will be ready to be stamped & sent.

My sugar levels have been terrible even when I don't eat something bad, so I finally called & made an appt with an Endocrinologist & it's only going to take 5 weeks to get into her. I've GOT to pick up this place a bit more today since my Mom & SIL are coming to play cards here tonight. I'm making a big veggie tray.

Best get busy.....have a good one all!
