Boffler, Bim is loving it here. Knows his way around the island almost better then anyone on the bus. Also has a part time job.

Paula...shelled. I stopped in at the store to find out where they were going to be located in the store & to make sure they actually were going to have the item tomorrow when the sale starts. This store has a habit on not having sale items available. They'll give you a rain check and probably hope you'll forget to use them.

Anyways, as I was leaving I saw the produce manager and cornered her. The truck with the sale items won't arrive until after 10am even though the store opens at 8am...dumb! Why wouldn't you have the sale items at the store the day before? I told her I wanted 20lbs and she said...oh my, guess I better change my order. She also is reserving me 24lbs (2 cases) and will call me when they come in. Wasn't that kind of her? Now I won't have to make special trips there to find out if they have them or not. I'll put most in the freezer. I told her she should order lots because I know of other bakers planning on getting them.

Well, I finished all the floors and chores I'm going to do today. E is trapped in the bedroom til the floors dry. 😆
Next, I'm taking a shower.
It's pretty hot outside. I often miss the autumn in of the Midwest. I loved the trees changing color, and crunching the dry leaves underfoot!
What's to love here in the desert? Watching birds change color and falling out of the trees?
