Good Morning, Friends.

Had another version of key lime cake at Bunco last night. It was AWESOME. Hostess found the recipe on Pinterest and I posted it in the kitchen.
It is such a gorgeous color - perfect for St. Pat's Day.

Rainy and cold. Need to get to WM this morning.

And the Spring Break craziness continues. Yesterday was the annual free Luke Bryan concert - it caused complete gridlock in traffic. They say there was well over 10,000 people there. I say NO THANKS.

Gotta go check the kitchen for that key lime cake.

Good morning yesterday was a great day! Work today....this evening is movie night/out reach event with my church. No real plans for the weekend.

Yes, Pat, you got it right! I need to email my DD a birthday wish....already sent her card & check.

Yesterday morning we had a glorious sunrise. It looked like the Catalina & Rincon mountains were afire. The color didn't last very long so I couldn't get a picture of it. But it was a totally cloudy day, although no rain fell. No sunshine at all.
Today will be sunny and in the low 80's.

No particular plans today. Laundry, for sure. Maybe I'll find my garden seeds. I'm getting somewhat absent-minded.

I'm dying to bake something. But my weight is up, probably from not going to the gym. I told E I need one straight-back chair for sitting exercises. The I have bands and weights that 2 daughters gave to me. Both girls are into exercising and want to be in the PT (1 physical trainer, the other a physical therapist) system. All I need is a treadmill. And he can cancel my membership at the gym. Both are very health/diet conscious. They freely offer tips.
Anyway, E is trying to lose weight as well. He tries. Has cut his food portions, anyway.

Good Morning! Yesterday was a beautiful sunny day...loved it! Even turned the heat off in the house though it got a bit chilly towards evening. Today is suppose to be heavy rain showers.

Yesterday wasn't super productive, but it was nice. I spent most of the afternoon cooking dinner. Per the girls request, I made chicken stuffed shells and for Corky I made spinach & chicken. Of course there were all kinds of vegetable sides. Kathy ate & ran, but by that time that was OK because Becca was ready to punch her. LOL! Kathy was mouthing off to me & demanding the piano. Ya know, if she would have ask in a very nice way, I might have let her have it, but when you ask in a demanding & entitled sort of way, there is NO WAY you are getting it. I don't care if it's never playing one more minute, ya won't get it. (Sorry Aunt J) I do plan to have Blaise take lessons some day, but until then it sits there most (not all) of the time un-played. Blaise got time out at school yesterday, so there was no TV or computer for him until after school today. I'm getting a new game in the mail today (Zoo Tycoon), so he's very motivated to behave today.

Not sure what today will bring. I'm thinking about mixing up the cookie dough for the 13 doz sugar cookies I have ordered for back Home at Easter. I'll probably bake 16 dozen just incase someone else decides to order. Laundry is calling my name too. I'll go to the gym after dropping off Blaise.

Talked to both realtors yesterday. The loan officer for the young couple here is on vacation this week, so they won't know anything until next week. Not holding my breath. One good thing, their realtor was very impressed by our house & wants to show it to others if this couple doesn't buy it...that's good. It's much bigger inside than it looks on the outside. Talked to our realtor in Bradford later in the evening after that showing & she was hopeful. They already want to come back with their parents, which is a good sign. Had a bit of drama earlier in the evening when the key wouldn't work in the door lock. Fortunately I had sent the backdoor key & a garage door opener to our friends just down the road, so Jim came up & opened the door(s) for them. We'll have to get the front door fixed. Always something. I'm sending her the other garage door opener today. Jim & her will work out something so that she can get back in the weekend.

Good morning, Friends! Here it is Friday again...my weeks go fast!
I am hoping I hear from my tax man today to come sign papers. The longer it takes the more nervous I get. Last year it was only a couple of days, but this year it has been a week...
Not sure who I will have in daycare today., My on again, off again child's grandmother texted and said the mom and child had moved back up with the dad...So I am down a child. Again.
And yesterday I had to call a mom early because her child started getting sick. Double ear infection. Really painful, and occurs a lot with allergies and draining. Someone from the college Early childhood course called and wanted to observe me this afternoon and I told her I wouldn't have any children here at the time she needed to come. We made an appointment for next week.
I love the lemon jello cake recipe and will be making the lime one you posted, Elaine. I looked in the Kitchen before starting to post after I read your post. No Eagle Brand milk, Jo!
We will have temps in the 70's all this coming week. The low is still in the 40's, but I am changing form flannel sheets to my regular ones when I do the bedding today. Going to do that as soon as I finish here and get a start on the weekend cleaning.

Have a good day! I took flowers over to the cemetery after daycare yesterday. Today it has been three years since Gary died. I am not posting anything on Facebook because I just don't want people to think I need a lot of comments back...I am doing okay. It is hard to describe how much you can miss someone.

Oh how I wish I still baked as key lime pie is one of my favorites. Think I'll copy the recipe and see if Patty can make it when I am there sometime. Or I could make it there. She does have lime trees and I think even a key lime tree too.

Do not have to go anywhere today so will stay and do things here.

good almost Noon..

I was up at 5/30.. planned on opening the door for you all today... but.... set with my toast and coffee in the recliner... and eventually fell back to sleep...
got up at 9.. and started to attack the kitchen.... dau. Karen made a remark yesterday... that got me moving again... she has decided to get someone do the sweeper and dusting ,moping and bathrooms.. but before she can do that the house has to be Purged ....all stuff setting around needs organized and stored or thrown away... there is "stuff" on every every flat surface that all needs to have a home.. the papers piled on the kitchen counter need a file cabinets etc etcetc.... the word Purged set me off again... if its on top of the desk ..either throw it out. or make room in a desk drawer for it.. and now the kitchen desk just had that done this forenoon...
Now today I hope to continue the Purge mood. and tackle this computer, tv. puzzle. sewing room. lady CAVE of mine... first make room in my metal filing cabinet for more folders ... and the unload the tops of everything ..... will make a note in NOTEPAD where I am storing things... since the memory is a problem when things get moved..

Donna...don't give either girl the piano... there may be more grandchildren some day who will love it.!. I fear Kathy would just sale it.

Yeah, Maye, that not showing up with money is always a big one. It was part of my stress with the one who moved back with Dad...
I decided to post on facebook in memory of Gary after all. It just seemed the right thing to do.
