Good morning Peeps. Great news. I had an interview yesterday afternoon at 2 pm with Home Intead Senior Care and that was the best interview experience I've ever had. I have a good feeling about it and it would be a perfect job for me. Most of the clients live out here where the 55+ communities are and it's not full time, but will be adequate. I cannot tell you how elated I am.

Me and my DH are going for blood draws first thing, (6 am) and then we are going to Bob Evans right across the road from the lab. How sweet is that?

Morning all

Super slow day at work yesterday - I think the phone only rang 3 times all day. So I put my time to good use and organized a bunch of stuff.

Today probably won't be any better, but that's okay. Next month we will be slammed and it will continue through Labor Day. Actually looking forward to being busy!

Off to the shower and onward! Y'all have a good 'un!

Good morning...Got really good news about granny. She was MUCH better last night...they found that she has another Urinary tract infection..pnemonia...and was dehydrated again. Hoping she will return to rehab today or maybe tomorrow....IF this makes any since I am comfortable with her being in the hospital..it allows mom to get more done at her apartment and stuff...because Granny is being constantly watched at the hospital.

Work today...Possibly bingo tonight.. my friend that had triple bypass surgery is coming home today so I may be there...

Good morning.....have been up since the wee hours of the am.....shortly after 1:30..... but as usual....sat with Snoopy on my lap and watched some saved shows...

My new range is being delivered this a.m....already emptied the storage drawer under my current one....and wiped it all down....it is going to my son Mike and wife Leisa...they are renting a house and will be good for them to have a stove to use...they have been gettng by with microwave and other cookers. My stove still works...just is looking worn....it is white finish....and Leisa wants to paint it black... my refrigerator should be here by the weekend....at least I am hoping so.

It will be a 'me' day today....no one to come over.... may even get to doing some work on my new sewing machine. the pile of clothes I am wanting to alter is growing...

Well...have to go let Duke out of his room....he is barking and don't want him to chew anything else...he already chewed a large hole in back of the bedroom door..

overcast and cold again... sigh....is two days of sunshine in a row too much to ask for???

busy day ahead.... the lady ,and 3 her home-schooled children coming in forenoon for lessons... .lunch... appt. at 2 get my fingernails polished. Granddau Shawna works there. and i give the owner of the shop's daug.. piano lessons.. so get a discount all around.. found that the polish is keeping my nails from breaking and ripping off... ........ then about 5ish we will go to Hannah's school..Hannah's last official basketball game .. plus they will be honoring the seniors before game starts.. .. .. very little cooking gets done today.

Pat. enjoy the none busy days... once you get organized . handling the busy ones will be easier... like you already knew that.. but I can't stop nagging. Ha.

Karlin .. sure hope you get the job .. sounds good..

Beth.. and you sound happier today... knowing Granny is getting constant care and letting your Mom get some rest..

Good Morning! There is a bit of snow flying through the air right now.

Yesterday was good. Got some cleaning done, and more importantly I got paperwork done. My desk is looking the best it has in a very LONG time. I feel accomplished. Made a few calls & solved a few minor problems. It's like a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. I paid both house/property taxes, so I know where we stand, and can go forward from there. One of the little problems was I keep getting emails from the college about the Spring bill, so I finally opened one of them only to find out there was a $10 balance. Did some investigating and found out Becca has an outstanding parking fine, so I called her about that and about a check I gave her for books that she hadn't deposited yet. Had a nice chat with her and she was taking care of both that day. Made a nice spaghetti dinner.

Today is Cooking Club at the library. I still need refrigerator biscuits to make the Monkey Bread, so I'm leaving shortly to get those & hit the gym. Corky is in charge of Blaise for school today. I'm taking the monkey bread & also egg strata which I assembled yesterday but that needs baked today. I'm giving a ride to one of the ladies that lives near me. Not sure what the rest of my day will bring once I get home. Leftovers for dinner.

Today is Kathy's 21st birthday and she's partying with friends today & tonight. She stopped by yesterday & I gave her $$ to get her new drivers license. In Ohio you have to get a new license when you turn 21 since you'll be legal then. Completely different in PA. I never thought we'd ever see Kathy's 18th birthday since those 5 years previous to that were an endless Hell, and now she's turning 21. The day she was born was one of our happiest because we thought we'd never have children.

Karlinann, fingers are crossed and toes, too, for good news about the job. Is the blood draw a drug test for the job? That is usually avery good sign they are going to hire you!
I am running late. I woke up with a sore neck muscle after being awake during the night...if I called in sick, today would have been a good excuse for it.

Good morning, all. Chilly this morning and looks like a bit of frost. Rest of week is expectedto be in high 30s or low 40s. Just wish that the rain hadn't given up so completely. there is none shown in any forecasts.

Kait is home and when they came to see me I got big hugs and lots of happy tears. Sure am glad that the breakup was not nasty. they agreed that they weren't right for each other.

I decided not to go to lunch at the community hall yesterday. Chicken Fried Steak was on the menu and I could just visualize: gravy mix, instant potatoes, and pre-formed and breaded meat. No thanks. I will probably go tomorrow. I can't remember what it is to be and I can't find my copy of the monthly menu.
Who's getting old and forgetful?

Beth, glad to see your granny is better but keep up your prayers.

Donna, I have been thinking of making monkey bread for one of our get-togethers. I like to make it with herb butter sometimes.

Good morning.
Last night's lecture was great. You know which professors are extremely good, because they really enjoy sharing their info and have a difficult time to stop talking. The lectures are meant to last an hour, but are closer to 1-1/2 hours.
What they've done is to cut out the Q&A session at the end. But they have asked us to send our questions in. Near the end of March they have space on an FM station to present the overview and answer the questions.
I don't know if we will catch that show, because we need to make a trip to MI. E's brother has asked to see him, because he doesn't think he will live much longer.

Not a whole lot going on here to write about. Weather is nice. I need to get more done here than I've been doing.
Easier said than done. But I won't go into that.

Well they have changed to a new way of doing mammograms since last year. It is digital and 3D and you don't get squished so bad at all like before. Good to know.

It is a beautiful day as Jo said. Have been working on my checkbook since coming home trying to balance it which I always have a hard time doing. Hate doing that sort of thing. Not sure what else I shall be doing but hoping to get a nice walk in later.
