Julie Andrews made her feature film debut in Mary Poppins (1964), for which she won the Academy Award for Best Actress. Although Andrews has received 28 awards over her career, this was her only Academy Award. She received a nomination for her performance in The Sound of Music, however she did not win. She and her co-stars also won the 1965 Grammy Award for Best Album for Children. Andrews earned a Tony Award nomination for her performance in the musical My Fair Lady.
