Maye, some women give birth easily. (Of my 5, 2 were quick and totally painless; with the other 3, they medicated me, which greatly prolonged the birthing, and it was painful, and 2 of those had some complications.)
Anyway, "peasant women" are sturdier people, often known to give birth and get right back to their jobs or chores. She is obvious one of the sturdier people.
Also, the peasant women are healthier getting their food from their gardens. The more elite classes had a totally different diet, fancy foods & not so healthy, and little in the way of exercise.

Also, the peasant children are taught that the older ones take care of the younger ones, and when old enough they all helped with the chores.

Between 1725 and 1765, in a total of 27 pregnancies, she gave birth to 16 pairs of twins, 7 sets of triplets, and 4 sets of quadruplets. 67 of them survived infancy. The case was reported to Moscow by the Monastery of Nikolsk on Feb 27, 1782, which had recorded every birth.

Musician and songwriter Bob Marley served as a world ambassador for reggae music and sold more than 20 million records throughout his career. The charismatic, beloved Jamaican singer who introduced reggae infused with Rastafarian themes died of cancer on May 11, 1981, in Miami, Florida. He was only 36 years old. The spread of melanoma to his lungs and brain caused his death. His final words to his son Ziggy were "Money can't buy life".

          Yesterday's Answer:

In order to become president, a candidate must win more than half of the votes in the Electoral College (currently that would be 270 of the 538 total electors). If no candidate wins a majority of electoral votes, the 12th Amendment to the Constitution provides for Presidential election by the House of Representatives with each State delegation receiving one vote. Twice in our history, the House of Representatives has chosen the President -- Thomas Jefferson's election in 1801 and John Quincy Adams' election in 1825.

              Yesterday's Answer:

John Hancock was a prominent Patriot of the American Revolution. Hancock was president of Congress when the Declaration of Independence was adopted and signed. He is primarily remembered by Americans for his large, flamboyant signature on the Declaration, so much so that "John Hancock" became, in the United States, an informal synonym for signature. According to legend, Hancock signed his name largely and clearly so that King George could read it without his spectacles, but the story is apocryphal and originated years later.

[Note: When you are asked to sign something, you might have been
told to "Put your John Hancock here." His name was synonymous with "signature".]

                    Yesterday's Answer: 👰🏻

Having first been introduced to Lisa Marie Presley by her father, Elvis, in 1974, Jackson reconnected with Lisa Marie in November 1992. In a telephone call, he proposed marriage to Presley. She agreed, and the two wed on May 26, 1994, at a private ceremony in the Dominican Republic. Married life for the couple was difficult, and the union ended in divorce in August 1996. Presley and Jackson continued to date, on and off, for four more years.

(I don't know why he did it, determined. My skepticism says it was all about publicity and money. Who knows, though....they still saw each other after the divorce.)

V8 Vegetable Juice is a trademark name for beverage products sold worldwide and made from either eight vegetables or a mixture of vegetables and fruits. The brand is owned by the Campbell Soup Company. The original V8 got its name from the fact that it contained the juices of eight different vegetables, as well as being a reference to the V8 engine. The original V8 is made mainly from water and tomato concentrate, and reconstituted vegetable juice blend: water and concentrate of eight vegetables, specifically: beets, celery, carrots, lettuce, parsley, watercress, spinach, and tomato. Tomato juice makes up around 89% of the total drink.

Premiering in 1951, I Love Lucy was the first television series to be filmed in front of an audience. This was made possible by the use of multiple cameras. This implementation allowed the show to benefit from the strengths of both stage plays (live audience) and film (camera angle options, point of view, etc.). This approach produced a perfect marriage between cinema and theater; television and plays. I Love Lucy is often regarded as one of the greatest and most influential sitcoms in history.

                          Yesterday's Answer:

Approximately 618,000 men died in the Civil War, 360,000 from the North and 258,000 from the South — by far the greatest toll of any war in American history. A new study suggests the war's death toll could have undercounted the dead by as many as 130,000. At any rate, these casualties exceed the nation's loss in all its other wars, from the Revolution through Vietnam. The Battle of Gettysburg was the costliest battle of the American Civil War based on number of casualties. Spanning over three days, from July 1-3, 1863, the Battle resulted in approximately 51,112 individuals being killed, wounded, missing, or captured.

In the United States, the first yield sign was installed in 1950 at First Street and Columbia Avenue Tulsa, Oklahoma, having been devised and designed (apparently independently) by Tulsa police officer Clinton Riggs. Riggs invented only the sign, not the rule, which was already in place. The sign as originally conceived by Officer Riggs was shaped like a keystone; later versions bore the shape of an inverted equilateral triangle in common use today.

Farfalle are a type of pasta. Commonly known as "bow-tie pasta", the name is derived from the Italian word farfalla (butterfly). The "e" at the end of the word is the Italian feminine plural ending, making the meaning of the word "butterflies".
