This is so easy to make y'all. Ok, so get a medium sized saucepan and grab that box of cornstarch out of the cupboard. Here is the recipe:
2 1/2 Cups of tap water and 1 1/2 TBSP of cornstarch
Mix those together in the saucepan and make sure there are no lumps. Bring to a boil for one minute then cool to room temperature. Fill a glass spray bottle with the starch or just use it right from the saucepan if you have lots of fabric to starch.
I used this to stiffen my fabric for the sunflowers I made for that craft fair. I also starched a bunch of muslin for Primitive crafts. No I don't starch my laundry, but I think if anyone makes craft items they could use this for added stiffness to fabrics.
Happy crafting!
