You probably remember that I save my used coffee filters and put the grinds in my garden. It's pure nitrogen and gives everything a boost, plus it improves the soil.
Well, I made quite a few things out of the coffee filters for my craft fair, but none of them sold so I donated most of them to the thrift shop. I kept the angel wings and a huge wreath of coffee filter roses. Oh, and I also used them to cover paper stars made from cereal boxes. Love those stars! Guess what? I'm still saving the cf and it's just a habit I can't quit. They don't decompose when you put them in the compost pile. Maybe I will make something big out of them. I've seen wedding gowns made from cf. Pretty too.
Speaking of grinds it's time to take mine out from this mornin's brew. I think they will go in the front yard today. It's a pure sand pile out there, but I have managed to grow some beautiful plants.
