Today I made a mailbox cover. It has 2 snow people on it with red background. It's all red felt with white snow people and they have mittens and scarfs around their necks. I put snowballs at the bottom on both sides and spelled snow on each side in big letters. I glued magnets on so it would stick to the mailbox. Guess what? It would not stick to the mailbox. I brought it inside and tried 3 times to get it to work. Apparently my mailbox is not metal. Ok, back in I came and found some Velcro and tried that underneath the mailbox post to hold it down and still look pretty with no ties or strings showing. Voila! It works and it's stinkin' cute.
