So I started saving cans back in August and I finally got enough to make something. I had some plastic tubing and made holes in the bottoms of the cans and strung the PT through the medium size, (4 for each leg), big ones for the body & head, small and medium for the arms and medium for the neck. I covered the entire thing with different colors of felt with the glue gun. He has a hat, scarf, and vest made of felt. Pockets on the vest. He is not my best crafting job ever, but I've got him hanging on the front porch.
Would you believe my original plan for the cans was to make a garden man or lady? Maybe I'll put the elf out in the garden after all. He might not scare any crows, but he will certainly be colorful.
