JoG, or anyone with an iPad

all of a sudden my iPad is opening and staying in the vertical position.
If I turn it to use horizontally, it does not shift like it always has done.
Any ideas of how to fix this?

Did you know there is a small button to the right of the volume bar that controls the screen? Me, neither. Poor English, but honestly, technology just makes me feel less than bright!

I'm glad you found that button, Paula. I just saw your question.
Don't feel less than bright. I wish we got an instruction book with these, rather than the instructional apps. Sometimes you get a problem that keeps you from using it.
