Green Bay is known as the “Toilet Paper Capital of the World.” In 1901, Northern Paper Mills of Green Bay created the first ever “sanitary tissue” which they called Northern Tissue. By 1920, Northern Paper Mills was producing toilet paper on a roll, and had quickly become the world’s largest producer of bath tissue. Northern Paper was the first to make toilet paper “splinter-free” in the early 1930’s! Up until this time, there had been little pieces of wood embedded in the paper. In 1928, Hoberg Paper Company in Green Bay created Charmin toilet paper. They changed their name to Charmin Paper Company in 1950, and the company was bought out by Procter & Gamble in 1957.

          Yesterday's Answer:

The flag of the state of Wyoming consists of the silhouette of an American Bison. The red symbolizes the Native Americans and the blood of pioneers who gave their lives. The white is a symbol of purity and uprightness. The blue is the color of the skies and distant mountains. It is also a symbol of fidelity, justice and virility. The bison represents the local fauna while the seal on it symbolizes the custom of branding livestock. In 1916 the Wyoming Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) ran a contest inviting the public to submit possible designs for a Wyoming flag. A prize of $20 was offered to the winner, and the DAR received a total of 37 entries. They chose a drawing by Verna Keays, a recent graduate of the Art Institute of Chicago. On January 31, 1917, Governor Robert D. Carey signed the state flag bill into law and the bison flag was officially adopted.

            Previous Answer:

The color of the Golden Gate Bridge is officially International Orange. The color was selected by consulting architect Irving Morrow because it complements the natural surroundings and enhances the bridge's visibility in fog. The famous International Orange color was originally used as a sealant for the bridge. The original bridge design called for another color, but the steel manufacturers painted the materials using an orange primer to protect it from the elements. The US Navy had wanted it to be painted with black and yellow stripes to ensure visibility by passing ships. The bridge is one of the most internationally recognized symbols of San Francisco, California, and the United States.

              Yesterday's Answer:

2015 (MMXV) is the current year. Roman numerals, the numeric system used in ancient Rome, employs combinations of letters from the Latin alphabet to signify values. I=1, V=5, X=10, L=50, C=100, D=500, M=1000. The year 2015 can be expressed in Roman Numerals as MMXV. MMXV = 1000 + 1000 + 10 + 5.

                  Yesterday's Answer #1:

Jet lag, medically referred to as desynchronosis is a physiological condition which results from alterations to the body's circadian rhythms resulting from rapid long-distance transmeridian (east–west or west–east) travel on high-speed aircraft. For example, someone traveling from New York to California feels as if the time were three hours later. The condition of jet lag may last several days until one is fully adjusted to the new time zone, and a recovery rate of one day per [time zone] crossed is a suggested guideline. The issue of jet lag is especially pronounced for airline pilots, crew, and frequent travelers.

                  🎶🎶
Answer: U.S. doctors have found that the Bee Gees disco song "Stayin' Alive" provides an ideal beat to follow while performing chest compressions as part of CPR on a heart attack victim. The 1977 hit song has a rhythm of 103 beats per minute (bpm), which is close to the recommended rate of at least 100 chest compressions per 60 seconds that should be delivered during CPR. In fact, the American Heart Association (AHA) officially recommends that if you see someone collapse, you should "call 9-1-1 and push hard and fast in the center of the chest to the beat of the classic disco song "Stayin' Alive."
