  • May 10, MOTHER'S DAY

    Date When Celebrated : Second Sunday in May

    Everybody has a mother and absolutely no one is more special than mom. Sure, dad is really important. And, grandparent's too. But moms, well they are just the greatest. Often taken for granted, they are always our strongest supporter. You can't do wrong in Mom's eyes. When you are hurt, or not feeling well....there is no one else that can help you more than Mom. She has nurtured you since your birth, cared for you in all ways as you grew up.

    💐

    🎶 M-O-T-H-E-R 🎶
    "M" is for the million things she gave me,
    "O" means only that she's growing old,
    "T" is for the tears she shed to save me,
    "H" is for her heart of purest gold;
    "E" is for her eyes, with love-light shining,
    "R" means right, and right she'll always be,
    Put them all together, they spell "MOTHER,"
    A word that means the world to me.
    - Howard Johnson & Theodore Morse

    💐

    So go out and celebrate Mother's Day. First and foremost, spend time with her. If you absolutely can not be there, take time for a long phone call. Flowers, cards, candy and gifts are all part of the day. But, mom wants some time with you far more than anything else.

    🌷. Did you know? The first Mother's Day was May 10, 1908 in Philadelphia
