  • Slow Cooker Shrimp Creole

    Made this this morning. Incredibly EZ and very good.

    1 T each butter & olive oil
    1/2 C each chopped celery, onion, pepper
    1 clove garlic
    1 T chili powder
    1 T Worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp sugar
    1 can crushed tomatoes
    1 can tomato sauce (8 oz)
    S & P to taste
    1# peeled & devined shrimp

    Saute vegetables in butter & oil. Add to crock pot with tomatoes, chili powder, Worcestershire, sugar, and S & P. Cook on low for 3 hours. Three minutes before serving, add shrimp to crock pot. Serve over rice.

    Sounds good but I don't have a crock pot or slow cooker.

      Sounds great....will give this a try......love shrimp....may adjust the shrimp amount if it is just for me. Not sure if Marianne can eat shrimp. Can add a little more hot spice if it is just for me..
