  • Crockpot Cranberry Chicken Recipe for Snoodle

Cranberry Chicken in the Crock Pot
    Very good and EASY

1 broiler/fryer chicken (cut up) or chicken pieces
    1 can (14 oz) whole-berry cranberry sauce
    1 cup BBQ sauce
    1 small onion, finely chopped
1 or 2 celery ribs, chopped fine
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon pepper

    Hot cooked rice

Place chicken in a 3 qt slow cooker. In a small bowl, combine the cranberry sauce, BBQ sauce, onion, celery, salt and pepper; pour over chicken. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours until chicken is tender. Serve with rice. Yield:6 servings

I used boneless chicken breasts. One gal wrote that she used chicken breasts that she cut into cubes - then used the leftovers in a chicken salad.
Growing older is a privilege denied to many.

Thanks Connie! That sounds delicious. I saved the recipe. Right now my slow cooker is on loan but I want to try this in the not too distant future. It appears to be a very easy recipe.
