I've read a couple of Karin Slaughter books. Good plots but rather gruesome. I have to be in the right mood to read those.

I made a trip to the library, read and returned those too. Enjoyable, light reading that helped me escape from everything going on in real life.

I'm back to reading freebies on the Kindle, mostly light and easy cozy type mysteries.

Finished a Sara Paretsky book. It dragged through the first half and then improved. Not sure I'll keep reading her books, the last two have not been as good.

Now I'm reading another freebie on the Kindle - a light and funny cozy. Exactly what I need right now.
